Got my 2nd knife today, the first knife was a WE Tighe Down, the second was a Mikov leverlock. Both are great looking. I do prefer better steel than on the blade than 420 stainless, it is sharp and very nice looking (fit and finish). If I use it a lot I'll just have to sharpen it more often. Thanks to Melissa for helping me out with a billing issue. Thanks I'm very satisfied with both knives.

Placed an order during the Black Friday timeframe. BHQ was heavily promoting a free knife giveaway with any orders over $175. I placed an order of over $570 (BHQ*******) and when I applied for the free knife I was informed it was out of stock. So the only promotional giveaway they had in stock was a "Valor coin", which I didn't want but it was better than nothing. Two hours later I get another email from BHQ STILL PROMOTING THE FREE KNIFE
GIVEAWAY IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER OF OVER $175! So I send Customer Support an email explaining the disingenuous situation.
I fully expected to get a response saying they would immediately ship out a free knife as soon as they had one back in stock. What I got was an email (several days later!) with some convoluted explanation about two separate "Gojiro" promotions, and I "unfortunately fell between the two". And, because I had applied the "Valor" promotion, I was excluded from any other promotion.
So I spent over 3 times the qualifying limit for the promotion, I've been a customer for 11 years with dozens of orders adding up to several thousands of dollars... and this is how BHQ decides to handle the situation.
Fool me once shame you... you won't get a second chance.
