I ordered a Saddlemen's seat for my H-D. Got it. Read all the info. And went to put it on and the bracket was too short. Called Dennis Kirk and got transferred to some "tech" who seemed very impressed with himself (I have no idea why) and got to listen to him tell me I needed to read the instructions. I even explained to him where HE was wrong about it, but he wasn't hearing that. I called Saddlemen's and they knew exactly what was up IMMEDIATELY, a simple fix. SO I packed the seat up and sent it back to Dennis Kirk and ordered it from Saddlemen's! I wouldn't refer ANYONE to Dennis Kirk even if they gave me the seat for free. Save yourself the insult and aggravation, go elsewhere!
I wish I could give this seller a positive review, but unfortunately, every single order I've placed has had some kind of problem. Whether it's incorrect parts, missing items, delayed shipping, or poor communication, something always goes wrong. Despite giving them multiple chances, the issues persist. When mistakes happen (which is often), resolving them is like pulling teeth--slow responses, excuses, and little urgency to make things right. It's exhausting having to double-check every order and follow up repeatedly just to get what I paid for. If you value reliability and hassle-free transactions, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of other sellers who actually deliver what they promise without constant errors. This one just isn't worth the frustration.
Merchant choose USPS for shipping (always a gamble). Package arrived three days late (when I was no longer at the house) no door tag or pick-up slip. Had items sent back to merchant and they have yet to refund me. Now I have to chase them down for a refund. Not exactly convenient!
My tires I bought from DennisKirk would not hold air they would not replace them they told me I could send them back and when and if the representative come by they would let them handle it. WHAT? All I WANTED WAS A SET OF TIRES THAT HELD AIR Now I'm stuck with $350 set of tires I want sell them because I don't want someone to get hurt or killed on bad tires stay away from these guys I was ripped off
If you have a problem with your product might as well return it. One of there products was wrongfully delivered to another house. They greeted me with a what do you want attitude on the phone. Was absolutely in helpful and refused to help. All I asked for was a email or call back when they received the return item. They blamed my neighbor for returning the package.
I bought the bassani Ripper road rage 1S73 which you said fit. The holes in the bracket don't line up on a fatboy 2023 thank goodness I am good at improvising and had to drill holes in the bracket in order for it to fit. Please advise people this before buying or provide the proper bracket for the fatboy
Order went in 1pm CST on a Friday. Paid Extra for 2nd day air. Thinking that sense they say same day shipping if ordered before 8pm CST it would ship Friday, dame day ordered. Wrong. Found out it it was still in Mn. At 1022 pm CST on Sunday night. Common sense tells me that 2 business days would be Friday and Monday, so package should have been here Monday not Tuesday. Deceptive business do not order from this company if your counting on same day shipping. Customer service is not helpful and very rude and very condisending.
They say same day shipping and shipped mine in 5 days. Charged 50 dollars for shipping and sent it by mail which took over a week to receive it. Then someone called and said it would take 3 weeks because it was on back order when I had just received an email saying the part was in stock 15 minutes prior. No one seems to know what there talking about. Clinton Kenny was the only person that knew what was going on and I would give him 5 stars. As far as the company goes I will not deal with them again. Other parts I have ordered from other motorcycle dealers I have received within one week with no hidden costs. When I picked my part up at the post office as it was not even delivered to the delivery address it cost another $40. Not impressed at all.
Purchased a jacket on a Sunday night at 8:06 that said free shipping. Got a confirmation email and was charged shipping. Ok. I obviously hit the wrong button. Within 5 min I tried to change the order and had to email since no one answered on a Sunday night. Called 8am Monday morning and asked to change shipping speed. She said it already shipped same day. It shipped between 8:06 and 8:12 on Sunday night? I was basically dismissed and hung up on.
Truth is the price was EXACTLY the same on Amazon. I went with you because of past experience and buying with a smaller more local company. If I just went with Amazon I would have hit change order and been done.
Dennis kirk sent me a wrong part that was listed to fit my snowmobile, after sending it back i noticed they charged me double the shipping cost out of my refund for their screw up, i called them and they pretty much said too bad! I wont be dealing with these a-holes again!
I know whats in stock, they ship promptly and no issues with returns. Customer service I didn't ever have to deal with but for the older bikes you are kind of on your own when it comes to fitment, hence the appreciation of their return policy.

Bought a HJC helmet and extra mirrored shield. The internal Sun Visor doesn't work right and parts of the mirrored shield rubbed off after two cleanings. Admittedly I removed the HJC helmet decals so they won't accept a return (absolutely fair). But they won't honor HJC's 5 year warranty on RPHA Helmets. They say I modified the helmet so the warranty is void and HJC won't accept it. Warranty says, this warranty does not apply to any problems that arise from wearer's modifications, etc. When I called HJC to ask, they explained that since the Sun Visor is operated by an internal wire, taking off decals doesn't matter. They said Dennis Kirk can submit a warranty claim on my behalf to have it repaired by their distributor's warranty department. I called and e-mailed asking to speak to Travis the Supervisor but he won't call me back. Lol!
As far as the shield goes they said they'd send me a new one when they're in stock. I'm sure Ill never see it.
Out of curiosity. I e-mailed Revzilla and J&P to see what they would do with the same scenario and without hesitation they said no problem. A big departure from Sandy's tone filled e-mails.
This is quite honestly he worst Customer Service experience I've had in my life.
Don't just go else where. Run!
Sandy Boerner, Denis Keira and Travis did such an unbelievably poor job at customer service. Did not tried the slightest to resolve the issue. Did the bare minimum by responding to my emails but did not tried truc the issue. I emailed this company right after placing the order realizing that I had made a mistake in the address and the product. Asked to fix address, they didn't try to correct it…
Never received my exhaust pipes. Supposedly they were delivered. For good customer service why not just send another set? 103 dollars seems like a small amount to take care of a customer. Been here for awhile and never had anything stolen
Compensator eliminator Purchase the 32 compensator eliminator with the chain as a kit install it on the bike with a brand new chain tensioner what about 30 miles the primary was making all kinds of noise have the bike towed home open up the primary cover found the chain tensioner had been disintegrated to nothing upon inspection found that the chain that they supplied made by TYC some Chinese knock off the links were not a smooth finish so it acted like a grinding wheel on the brand new chain tensioner ended up purchasing a diamond Brand Chain spend about four hours cleaning all the debris out of my primary including the dissembling Of the entire clutch basket Called them They told me to return the item but nothing was given for my time and effort that I've wasted due to their product failure I was dealing with this company for years not anymore
Make sure to buy any product though PayPal from them that way youll be able to get a refund and never have to deal with customer service again.
Dennis kirk mailed me back the bib and boots, despite me telling them 3 times not to mail them back to me. I inspected the items and counted 8 random dog hairs between both items. I spent a whole 3 minutes wiping them off and now the items are new again. I will be mailing them back for my full refund.
Returned snowmobile boots and bib. Brand new, never worn. They accused me of wearing items, that they items were returned dirty, and boots had food on the bottom. All a lie! Boots were tried on in my kitchen and I assure you there was no food on the floor. The bib had tags on it and never worn and definitely not dirty. They are liars! Customer service was rude. Told me they would only reimburse 65% of my money.
I just have to do a shoutout to Dennis Kirk company. We have used them regularly for years, taking all the customer service they offer, and a wonderful, easy to use, website, for granted.
Fast, reliable, easy returns, great inventory, timely back orders,( especially these days), absolutely top notch company! Keep up the great work!
Oh, wow, I wish I would have checked this company out here before we made our last order. We somehow had a previous order that went alright so I thought it would be okay to order from them again. I was wrong.
We ordered a windshield for our Harley on Jan 21 and got a confirmation on shipping that same day with a tracking number and expected delivery date of Jan 25. Okay that sounded reasonable so we waited.
Yesterday was Jan 25 and the package did not deliver but we thought okay give it another day. We had been busy and didn't check the tracking. Today is the 26th and no delivery so I tracked it with the USPS number and it showed that the package had never been scanned as being picked up at all.
So we called customer service to find out where is our missing package and a rude female tried to tell us that it is not the company's problem but that we would have to call the post office. That she could not file a missing mail case before 15 days had passed. Then when we asked to speak to her boss she said he would call us back and actually hung up on me.
Sorry but I am a seller also and I deal with this exact same thing sometimes for my own customers. I have filed missing package reports with the PO within 3 days and they have always helped me find them. It takes a simple phone call and it cannot be the recipient calling, it has to be the sender.
The only good thing about this ordeal is that the supervisor did actually call back and spoke to my husband. He was not rude and said he would get it investigated and if it wasn't scanned and moving through the postal system within 3 days he would reship.
So now we wait to see if that is really true. After reading some of the reviews here I am still having doubts. I will update with what happens in 3 days.
As of right now, I do not recommend this company.
