Cancel my membership

A month ago, FLNicholas contacted me and offered to pay a membership of USD10. I tried it. I have been working through Upwork for years, so I wanted to give Freelancer a chance. But it was a complete waste of money. The only clients that contacted me were either scams or unpaid trials that never reached back. I decided to stop paying the membership, so I contacted FLNicholas to help me. He gave steps that didn't work. When I told him, he misled me into downgrading instead of canceling. He never answered back. Then I spoke to Magenta (probably a bot) to whom I had to insist on canceling, not downgrading. I'm extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with Freelancer.

Freelancer attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Exceptional Service from Margaux

I participated in a contest on Freelancer, investing significant time and effort into delivering a high-quality project. However, the contest holder set a very low prize for a project that required extensive work. Despite fulfilling all requirements, the client disputed the contest, which felt unfair.

Freelancer's dispute resolution process has been slow, and I feel that freelancers need better protection in such cases. Clearer contest guidelines and a fairer resolution system would improve the experience.

I hope Freelancer takes steps to support freelancers who put in genuine effort and ensure that contest holders offer fair compensation for the work required.

Russell is an abosulte scammer

I was promised a verified badge that I never received.
Russell who's last name is secret, which should've been the first indicator of him being a scammer, is heavily hurting the reputation of freelancer com and committing a crime by not refunding something he did not deliver.

Help with IP Address block

Had ran through a problem regarding my IP address being blocked by the site without any notice. Luckily i had a chance talking to a freelancer agent which immediately took care of my problem, and within minutes (or less) i got back to my freelancer account again. Thank you agent for your immediate assistance.
