They say its free, they make you think it's free upfront. You upload a document they comes the credit card request AND THEY ARE HOLDING YOUR DOCUMENT HOSTAGE! DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!
I tried sending a fax twice today. It tried very briefly then said it didn't go through because the line was busy. I faxed after hours the second time to avoid this. I'm not sure this service works. I'll keep trying twice a day, but that's not very efficient. Each time, I have to enter all the information and uploads rather than resend. So far, it's disappointing.
I tried faxing someone through this site and realized that it is superior to most free fax services and sites for the U.S. and Canada. They have international options but the US and Canada is their primary focus. I love it and just wish I had known about it sooner. They have paid options for bigger faxes as well. I recommend this as the best free option out there and urge everyone to try it instead of keeping a fax machine.

It's a fine free service. Highly recommended.
The problem with this service is even if the recipient fax is busy it counts as a free fax because they say "it uses system resources" - which it does - but maybe 5 seconds for a one page, no cover sheet fax? Plus, it could queue the fax for later attempt.
