You may think from the commercials Amazon is an excellent site to sell on WRONG! They do not care about sellers you are at risk of being ripped off from scam artist buyers, they never side with the seller no matter how much a buyer lies or what evidence you present if they give you a chance to present at all. They do not follow their own policy guidelines Briefly I sold an item 28 days later the buyer said the item was used and scratched. Thought I was covering myself by sending the buyer PRIOR TO SHIPPING actual pictures of the item WRONG AMAZON DID NOT CARE. They never gave me an opportunity to present my case, they ignored their own policy that a buyer has 14 days to submit a claim if the item is damaged or materially different than advertised (although this was not the case), and their policy that a seller has 7 days to present their case if a claim is filed. They told the buyer he could return the item although now three weeks later I have not received my item back, they refunded the buyer although the buyer was lying and they are charging me for the item by the way this was a $4,000.00 dollar item They are now charging me for the full price including their fees! I feel like I am trapped in the Twilight Zone! I have called their call center (based in the Philippines numerous times after spending hours on the phone I get the same message after explaining in great detail the situation... you must email Amazon I email a case log is opened but Amazon never responds. I have opened over 15 cases Amazon just closes them and never responds. THEY JUST IGNORED ME BUT KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS SAYING I OWE THEM. IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO TAKE THE LOSS AND THE RISK IN ADDITION TO PAYING THEM FEES IF SOMEONE RETURNS AN ITEM. DO NOT SELL ON AMAZON TRUST ME THE WORST SITE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AS A SELLER! DON'T LET THE SLICK SITE AND COMMERCIALS FOOL YOU THEY ARE GREEDY AND DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT SMALL BUSINESSES OR IF YOU GET SCAMMED BY A DIS-HONES BUYER!
