Alibris been my go -to whenever I need any kind of book including school textbooks. I can usually find reasonable prices. Shipping time is almost always right away. It's the only online site I use because of the excellent service!
I have been totally satisfied with each order placed, whether it is a classic old movie or book (even hardcovers). Great prices and vendors. I only wish there was a singular shipping cost when multiple purchases are made.

Easy process. With the advent of Amazon years ago, frankly I'd forgotten about Alibris. I wanted a different book, and it wasn't available on Amazon and Ebay. I wracked my brain trying to remember this place where I had bought books in the past. It took a while, but it finally popped into my head— Alibris. So glad they still exist! They don't have the book I was looking for, but this one showed up, and will definitely fit the bill.
The prices are definitely lower than the same items found on Amazon, however, the shipping costs for each individual item do add up pretty quickly.
Purchase process was a little weird. My cart would not let me add a 4th item until I settled whether I wanted a deal to save $1.24 on the first 3 items. I took the deal, but couldn't that have been settled up at the end? I planned on making one purchase for roughly 10 items.

I have difficulty when trying to order more books from the same seller to reduce shipping charges. Process seems to cumbersome.

For others only in paperback I can no read the small print and some of the others were just way too expensive. I have to thank my Mom may she rest in peace reading!

It was easy to use and I liked how they gave me many options from who i can buy from and compare prices for the item i needed.
I had spent quite a bit of time filling the cart with the books I wanted. When I logged in, the cart was empty. I spent several minutes re-filling the cart and losing 2 books at lesser prices for Very Good quality. I was in the process of ordering for about 2 hours. Very unhappy.
The billing information was difficult to get right. Be careful how you put in your billing and shipping addresses if they are different.

I have just ordered two of the same book -- one to ship to Canada (cost $17) and the other to ship to USA (cost $7).
My first review was negative because of the +200% shipping price increase -- revealed to me ONLY AS I FINALLY CHECKED OUT.
For this 2nd book, the reverse occurred ie. A decrease in shipping to Kansas.
This is also a SHOCK... as it should be stated in your online page 1 advert -- that the $7 shipping is to USA... and "other countries will pay higher shipping... to be calculated (along with taxes) at Check Out".
That kind of up-front notice would engender more customer trust -- and less customer shock and frustration/ill will.
! It was a SHOCK to see your shipping price jump from $7.61 (which I thought very attractive) to $16.75 just as I was checking out!
That increased our christmas present purchase price by almost twice as much = 96% more than when I started placing the order.

Beautiful book of Mexican calendar art. I seen an exhibit of the original paintings at the Mexican Fine Art museum in Chicago. It was a fantastic exhibit and I really desire to have a book and history of the works.
