We are extremely happy with how our garage floor project turned out. We followed the detailed instructions, received timely, expert answers when we asked ArmorGarage questions and the entire project went as planned. An excellent product and company.
Pressure washed floor 3 times, etched with muriatic, then citric, then neutralized with TSP as directed. Dried 24 hrs. Primer went on great! Waited 8 hours, main color fish eyed 20 minites after application. Tried re-rolling it on one area and it fish eyed again. Nothing i could do at that point but wait overnight and then went forward with the clear topcoat. The topcoat did not fish eye and appears to have sealed the top. Doesn't look the best, but seems solid and stout. Kinda bummed, but it is what it is.
The kit worked great and the final result looked amazing. The instructions were easy to understand and the kit is complete. They provided plenty of the flake so you can make it as thick or thin as you want.
Great kit! Came out looking like a professional did it. Comes with all you need to throw down a cool looking, tough floor.
Excellent product, well made and perfect size for my car. Mat is thick and does not roll up on ends and very easy to clean. Will recommend to my friends. Thank you, John
Nowhere in anything that talks about their product does it state that it is not UV safe. Sent photos asking about their guarantees to have them tell me that it's not guaranteed because of sun damage. This is after 6 months after application.
Primer coat just barely covered square footage extremely light really had to stretch. Color coat did not cover had to order more product. Product that gets hit by the Sun turns yellow within a couple of months. Company not willing to do anything about this nowhere in the product description does it say it is not UV protected. Messaging with them, they ask for photos, sent photos, reply as well it's not UV safe LOL a little late on that information.
Most important part of the process was the access to their customer support. I placed multiple calls and every-time someone answered and helped with every question and provided very good guidance. Thanks Adam!
Thanks Chris look forward to working with you on your next project.

Great experience from order to delivery. The information online re product was comprehensive.
Product installed easily and appears to be a quality product. Cannot verify the result until next Spring after a New England Winter and Spring Rain Reason. Hopeful...
I'm a handyman and I use Armor Garage epoxy floors regularly. The instructions are clear and the results are great! I'll be using them for every garage floor I install.
I ordered the vertical wall epoxy in dark grey to use for an exterior application. The order arrived within a week and with application instructions. I applied it to my wall and am very happy with the results.
Ordering was easy. Shipped promptly and arrived quickly. The delivery company was also excellent.
I spent alot of money to paint my 2 car garage floor. I followed instructions exactly how they wanted. Topcoat started to peel a year later now my garage looks so bad. I should have left it bare concrete. Good luck if you buy it, don't say you wasn't warned. So frustrating I spent all that money for it to peel up. I will be more than happy to provide more info and Pic if needed.
Great epoxy but the sealer sucks when it's wet. I can't tell you how many times we've fallen on it in the last 8 months. From my wife, to my 3 year old to myself. We spent $1500 for the kit and non slip coating, first time it got wet we were ice skating so they told me I needed a different non-slip sealer, another $200 + later put that down and it's no better than the first sealer, contacted Armor Garage and now they are telling me if i buy a third type of non-slip coating for another $560 it "should" be non-slip. Sorry guys but i thought you would have stepped up to the plate to make it right since the first 2 times i did what you recommended and it didn't fix the problem. Good for you for getting my money but seeing how I've worked in auto shops for the last 20 plus years and continue to do so I'll be sure to pass the word along on just how happy i am!
This is the best i have for proof or purchase:
Joe, looking back at your original order it seems you did approx 850 s/f. For that square footage you'll need
2 gallons of Top Coat and 2 Qt's of the Aluminum Oxide. Retail is $235.00 per gal (top coat) and $45.00 each
Per qt of (non slip) $560.00. That said, I will discount it for you to $460.00 delivered.

Joe sorry you're having issues with your floor. It appears that you have non typical floor conditions in your garage. We have never had a situation where the commercial grade nonslip has not provided sufficient traction. The second time you did your floor we provided the commercial grade nonslip versus the residential grade nonslip applied the first time. All our epoxy orders get shipped with nonslip additive because all epoxy floors are slippery without it. The only last solution other than a full broadcast sand floor is to go with our Industrial grade nonslip additive. Let me be clear a full broadcast sand floor is only used for Firehouses or public pool areas and the industrial nonslip is used only in commercial kitchens where there is always lots of oil and grease on the floor. We have never had to do either for a residential garage. The vast majority of our industrial customers don't even use the industrial nonslip other than in special conditions that require it because it is very abrasive and makes the floor hard to clean. It will either have to be scrubbed with a pool brush or power washed. It sounds like you have ice and excessive snow on your garage floor and it may require mats or something similar to provide the proper traction you need in your particular situation. If you would give me a call in the office I would like to work out an amical solution for the both of us.
Thanks
We purchased their product for our 1152 square feet family shop a little over a year ago. My husband and my 3 sons and their friends use the shop to service personal vehicles, our tractor, and to work on project cars. We've had several car engines removed and replaced using a steel wheel engine hoist, we've had hot steel splatter from an acetylene torch, and we've had several different chemicals spilled on it and we've had no failures in the product. We followed the prep instructions carefully because there were several oil spills to remove prior to application. We are building a new house and we will definitely put this product on our garage floor.
I bought my brand new car there and every time, EVERY TIME, doesn't matter if it's a tire rotation and oil change or a car inspection or getting snow tires on or anything else, I am here for HOURS. It shouldn't be like this. Will never buy another car from them again. They think I have hours to sit around while they take their time doing something so simple as swapping out tires. I make an appointment for everything and yet 4 hours later I am still here. They give zero care that you sit there for hours. Will buy from another place next time I need a car. Absolutely ridiculous!
Melissa, I think you have us confused with your service repair shop. We are ArmorGarage and sell garage floor epoxy, we do not do any auto repair work. Please remove our name from this review and direct it
Toward the proper entity, ie: your auto repair shop. Thanks!
Not a good product
All good so far. We have applied the first later so far and it was pretty easy. We look for long term success with these products.
Great Product
Very easy to work with. Very helpful on the phone
Answer: The compressive and tensile strengths are both around 10,000 psi which is twice as strong as the strongest concrete used in construction.
Answer: The military grade topcoat holds up well to UV rays but like all indoor epoxies if you leave your door open all day long every weekend it will eventually yellow. For normal UV exposure Yellowing is not an issue since the topcoat is a urethane and UV rated but it is not outdoor rated therefore the UV exposure needs to be limited. For long frequent or continuous UV exposure you need an outdoor rated epoxy such as our Ultra Fast epoxy.
Answer: It holds up very well to sand with the military grade topcoat version. If it gets a lot of sun exposure we don't recommend it for outdoor use.
Answer: Standard size squeegee is 12". For orders of two or more kits we provide an 18" squeegee. Both use a standard broom stick.
Ralph, so happy to hear you're another satisfied ArmorGarage customer! Please post some photos of your new floor!
