BCA is a company I admire, but, they took a shortcut and did not think through of how their customers are mostly right handed. Their bolt action pistol upper will work splendidly for southpaws but not right handed shooters. With the bolt on the dominant grip holding side it will be an awkward process of repeat shots by having to release the grip, work the bolt then get a proper grip again. Awkward. Move the bolt handle to the left side for right handed shooters and the issue is resolved. The Savage center fire and rim fire pistols are perfect examples of this.
Love the Fact that BCA is manufacturing their Bolt action uppers based off of the Right side charging upper. I would like to see a bolt action pistol upper based on their left side charging platform and shorten the bolt carrier group for both the pistol and the rifle platforms, replace the buffer tube assembly with a picatinny mount to accommodate whatever AR stock a customer would want. I will continue to harass BCA to produce a Pump Action AR with a sporter lower. As in my recommendations for the pistol and rifle uppers shorten the bolt carrier group and replace the buffer tube assembly with a picatinny mount. On the Pump Action Upper you can modify or replace the spring from the buffer tube assembly to the part of the barrel assembly much like the Foxtrot Mike AR Upper and offer at a price point for the common working Patriots of this Nation can reasonably afford.
I'm very happy with the uppers I have received from BCA I consider the right side charging upper to be a superior design for civilians that purchase AR's with the direct impingement system as there is "zero" blow back.
I do have a couple of suggestions and request for BCA:
1. Team up with Sierra Bullets and Create the 475 Bear Hammer based on the.425 Westley Richards Case for the BC10 platform.
https://revivaler.com/the-425-westley-richards/
2. Create a pump action only upper for all AR platforms that BCA manufactures. A standard angled foregrip with a slot milled into the forearm can accommodate and would not have to have a hole for the gas block in the barrel. This simple modification would make your rifles 50 state legal and would be an alternative to the lever action AR.
3. An economical sporter type lower to compete with the more expensive and made in the USA sporter lowers such as Fightlite SCR and Foxtrot Mike Ranch rifle.
https://fightlite.com/scr-16-bkm
https://fm-products.com/
4. Have a bi-annual giveaway based on concepts and suggestions given to BCA that makes it to production.
My request is for a side charging BC15 upper with a standard 20 inch AR Handguard/Forearm for a prototype I wish to create for BCA manufacture.
Thanks, and salute to great products made and sold for the common US Patriot.
Purchased a AR10.308 side charge rifle and had to send it back when I fired the first shot for misfeeds. They said they installed a new BCG and again after firing it a couple times replaced the BCG for a broke firing pin. I now have it down again due to no pin marks on primers and only slight marks on unfired shells. This is the 3rd BCG replaced and 2 at my cost. NEVER buy a cheap gun! Spend a few more dollars and get a gun you can depend on, that's what they are for RIGHT!
I have purchased several items from BCA. All of the BCA items that I have purchased have been of good quality, for the most part. However, I purchased a UTG magazine and a Monstrum 3-9 x 32 scope that were less than what I expected them to be. As I worked through the return process, I noticed that the BCA customer service staff was very strong on saying how much they wanted to satisfy their customers, and very weak on actually performing to do so. Their process is painfully slow and they do not respond in a timely manner, sometimes leading me to believe that they have forgotten about me. After waiting for what seemed to be a more than reasonable time, I would reach out to them for a response. Sometimes I would get one and sometimes I would not. On one occasion, I waited 19 days( because their automated email says that it may take up to 14 days for resolution). When contacting them and informing them that it has been 19 days, "conveniently " I was told that the product was being shipped out that day. I had to wait for what seemed an eternity to receive my repaired scope. Finally receiving it( I only assume that they sent it back to the manufacturer for repair, they did not communicate to me what they were doing) and attempting to use it only to find that it either was not repaired or was again defective. So here we go again! :(
Have a G19 stainless barrel for my Gen 4 G19
Love it and works great. Thinking about getting another one. Waiting for a free shipping deal to make the purchase
Bought a G19 stainless steel barrel a while back, still love it, way better than the factory one
Highly recommended
I returned a bc scope over a year ago and am still waiting for the credit, can I give 0 stars? Customer service is the worst. Why do I need 100 characters?
350 legend, After two years and around 200 rounds I started having mis fires, light indents on primers, took it apart and the firing pin is a soft metal, the striker end is flattened and the rear flange that contacts the bolt is worn and has a ring indent in it, never saw this in 25 years carrying M16s, M16A3s and the M4s, and they got a hell of a lot of use with no wear signs like this pin! Junk steel,,,
BCA has been good to me so far. I bought their AR-15 lower,.223 Wylde upper and 6.5 Grendel upper.
The lower functions flawlessly and looks perfect, contrary to some of the reviews saying theirs had blemishes.
Both of the uppers from BCA also came without blemishes. The.223 Wylde is very accurate at 100 yards which is what I typically shoot at. I have not had a chance to shoot the 6.5 Grendel, but I am confident it will perform flawlessly as everything I own from BCA has exceeded my expectations so far.
I'm new to BCA so can only say my new Upper that looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to finishing out my build!
Tried multiple times to inquire about a product that when you do a google search it says they have it but when you are moved to the sight you can't find it. Their "chat" with us is a joke. Was hoping to do business with them but without human contact it's impossible. By the way when you fill out the contact form you get a page of useless information back. Look elsewhere for you products.
I have purchased several AR uppers over the years (probably 10). I never had a problem with any of them until this year. I bought a.410 upper. The first time I fired it the end of the barrel bulged. After 5 phone calls (left a message to call me back 4 times) I finally got to talk to a person. They sent me a return label and I mailed the upper back to them. A week later I get an email that saying that I have a store credit. I don't want a store credit, I want my upper back! They never said that they we not going to repair it! If I had known that they were keeping it, I never would have sent it back. I have $200 worth of mags that are useless now.
I asked the Customer Rep if I could get my upper back and he said no, once a credit is given it can't be taken back. He also said sorry so may time that it became infuriating. When I asked to speak to a manager, of course, they were too busy and would call me back. Haven't heard from him yet.
If you are buying from Bear Creek Arsenal for product quality or expected warranty service DON'T EXPECT TO FIND IT WITH THEM!
Ah yes the parts are in stock, spend hundreds of dollars and your order sits while they sell your parts that were in stock to other people and are now out of stock. So now your order sits for weeks while they get around to building the uppers or making the barrel you ordered. Oh your a dealer too? Your customers are piss**** like always when you deal with BCA as they do not separate dealers from retail, your all the same. Another company who makes so much money they could care less about customer service, loyalty to their dealers or your orders and customers. They do more damage to small businesses than help. If your a dealer you will see, spend $100,000.00 it means zip. Its to the point of ridding our stock of all their products AND FILING CHARGEBACKS, i mean nobody at all gives a s***. Phone will ring forever, emails dont get answered, its a joke.
Bought an AR 15 pistol in January 2024. Had it for a few weeks before I had the opportunity to shoot. Didn't even get a full magazine through it before it stopped ejecting the shells and the bolt wouldn't open. I requested a return and this was authorized promptly. Returned the gun and waited several weeks. Told Bear Creek to just refund my money. Because it was beyond a certain period, they would not refund the $50 shipping. So I am out $50 shipping plus a $25 dealer fee. Called and explained, but they would not bend. So, my advice is to certainly not do business with this company.
Their customer service does not have a phone line.you have a problem with them?good luck.had 30 illegals working for them till ICE raided them.
Purchased a 22-250 upper and mags from BC on 11/13/2023, the upper seems solid but I am yet to get to test it from a magazine. First the mags that was purchased had to be returned as they said they was defective and the following week they were removed from the website as they are not functional with the upper. I loaded the shells into the chamber by hand to test the upper and discovered the upper was having trouble with the bcg extracting the shells. I contacted customer service again after several emails they provide a new extractor and that fixed the problem. I then contacted customer service about the requested solution for a mag replacement issue that was ignored on the previous email request and could not get any one to reply to my messages. I rested to them if they did not have a mag that would feed the upper that I wanted to return it. I waited and waited for a reply and got nothing. I sent another email request and got no reply. Send a third and finally a fourth and got a reply.
Once I walked them thru the problem and frustration of unreturned phone and email messages. I got another message that said the upper was beyond being returned as it was over the allowed time for it to be returned. I asked several times to have someone in management return my call, but they said they was understaffed, and I have not heard from anyone to date and today's date is 03/02/2024. Buyer beware there is no customer service available if you have a problem with the product purchased from Bear Creek Arsenal.
Customer service is lacking if you order something whether it's on the phone or on their website it takes 10 to 14 days to process your order which is way too slow when you try to call back and you're on hold for 10 minutes and finally leave a voicemail nobody calls you back done that with sales and with customer service send an e-mail for via their website and received the information that they may take up to 14 days to process your order again just seems like it's way too long to wait.
The BCG has been on back order for 3 months...no restock that they know of
No help from BC sales reps. Beware do not buy their 22lr upper side charge...$30
No refund, exchange...Sales is final...RIP OFF!
Numerous calls and emails, No response. Other than the standard, generic automated email reply, I have yet to hear back from a live person. In April of 2023 I placed an order and I was shipped the wrong firearm. I called customer service several times before a reply, and was issued a credit on my account on "a future purchase". I've spent over $14k dollars with this company in the last 1 1/2 years, I assumed a $50 store credit would not be too big of a deal that I would need to make sure I received a paper certificate showing my verbal conversation regarding the credit. Fast forward, 2 orders later and they keep "missing" the credit to apply to my orders. 5 voice mails and 4 emails, tried using live chat but message comes back saying "Live Chat Unavailable" and once again no live person has replied. Oh well, I have several other firearm manufacturers I can recommend to my customers.
I was wanting to purchase a complete upper for my 5.56 ar and had a couple questions. I called and was transferred to their customer service, then a recording to leave a msg. I informed them I had a couple questions before placing my order. I missed a return call and was told to contact Michael. I called the next morning and the guy answering the phone told me that Michael called in sick so I told the guy that I had a couple of questions before I ordered and he said he was at lunch and would call me back (30 mins.) as soon as he got back to his desk. Well that was over 5 hrs ago and nothing. So if this is any indication as to their customer service I looking to find the upper somewhere else; I suggest everyone consider avoid Bear Creek Arsenal, it'll save you alot of BS in the long run! No I don't have a proof of purchase, Bear Creek won't answer any questions so I could make a purchase.
I have a.223 Wylde 10.5in,.300 Black Out 10.5in, and a.300 Black Out 16in. I like the heck out of them, especially the Black Outs with the right side charging system. Maybe the way I go from now on. Thanks BCA for great guns.
I love the AR 15 10.5 Inch Complete Upper. It's perfect to carry for self-defense at home and around the country-side where I live. Thank you BCA.
Place sucks give ur money to a real USA company. Very disappointed in this company. They stop delivering to many states! The country is going down the toilet and now this company is jumping on the wagon. Sure u will out of business soon!

Answer: George, if you've ordered from BCA and not received your order nor any helpful communication or responses like myself and others, I encourage you to document your correspondence and help us report BCA to the NC Attorney General's office. If enought of us do this, maybe BCA's management will start to notice that this is beyond just bad customer service. More info here: https://ncdoj.gov/file-a-complaint/consumer-complaint/
