I don't know how they stay in business with their shady practice. I kept seeing an ad by them to try their product for free so I signed up for a free sample and only had to pay for shipping. But they don't tell you, you are auto subscribed once your sample ships and you are billed monthly. I had the option to not accept subscription upon checking out so I thought it was the end of it. I got sample delivered may 22nd and may 30th comes, I'm at work, I get an alert on my phone Because market had shipped out two products to me. I immediately go on my card account and saw they charged me. I call the card number to try and stop the payment from going through and reported unauthorized charge. I also requested they block all future charges from this business. I then decide to go on website and I had to put in my email to get access to account. I login and see the subscriptions and tried to cancel. I was able to remove one but not the other. I tried to cancel on their site but it wouldnt let me. I tried to call, it just hung up. I tried email. Then the following day I was able to use their chat and got a hold of an employer. She informed me order couldn't be cancelled as it had been shipped and I was also told subscriptions turn on automatically once product is shipped. I complained I didn't authorize it after I declined subscription at check out and I wanted it to be cancelled. So she cancelled my subscription. Never recieved email about any subscription, they shipped before 14 days after I got my sample, what they do is very shady practice and as of June 2nd, I saw my refund on my card being pended. But this was after I did a chargeback for unauthorized charge. Their website is designed to confuse you, making you believe you have an option to not accept subscription at checkout, not knowing it turns on once sample is sent out. You also dont know you have an account created too. How they stay in business with chargebacks is beyond me.
Stay away from this company! Fell for their pop up about getting a sample for 2.99 shipping, then later on I received an email saying my order had shipped after receiving my sample! I didn't order anything other than the sample and I didn't authorize them to send me anything other than the sample that popped up that I order for the 2.99 Called as soon as I got the message about the shipment and told them I didn't order it and I didn't want it and I was told that they emailed me and I didn't respond so they sent it. That is what the female on the phone told me. So, I was told that they could send me a return label and I would have to pay the shipping back for something I didn't order I told her no thanks! That when FedEx delivered it to the house I would refuse the delivery. So that's what I did and it went right back to the company. The female also told me that the refund department would reach out to me in 3 to 5 or 7 days about my refund which didn't happen until much later after me reaching out AGAIN to find out what the hold up was and the male that replied in regards to my refund told me I wouldn't be getting one, so you order a sample from them they screw you into some sort of scam to automatically send you more and then tell you all this and want you to pay to send it back then when you refuse it they tell you that you won't get a refund, so it's a win win for their SCAM! Charge someone for something other than what they ordered and then when returned turn around and scam someone else. So, if you see their ads pop up anywhere, run like the wind from it and don't fall for it or you'll end up being in a whole lot of work to report them to get your money back
Horrible customer services and shady practices. Who charges you for a full month of a product before you even get the sample pack you ordered? And without warning? Then when you want to get a refund they take you through a bunch of mess. Absolutely horrible. And then every email received or rep I've spoken to was rude and condescending. Absolutely will not be using this service again and will be spreading the word on all platforms that I have.
Horrible, dishonest company! They are praying on the elderly. First: order says it's shipped on Monday. I look at the tracking, on Wednesday it has not moved. Only says label was made. I wrote an email and got a canned response. I call they cannot look my order up by its number, my name, or the other 11 digit number no one knows what it's for. Customer service hung up on me 4 times! I guess when they cannot find an order they just hang up. By the fifth call I'm livid, I now just want to cancel my order.
She says it has a new magic tracking number and it is on its way now in Sparks, NV. I'm suspicious so I look up Sparks it's a suburb of Reno where it has sat not moving for 72 hours. The only thing she can say is, I will escalate this. She has no idea what that means because she can't explain what it means. Apparently, my subscription has been canceled. I will check trust pilot next time before I order these things for my mother again. Shame on these companies that pray on people that are taking care of their loved ones as if that's not already hard enough. Don't bother replying I know this is just a scam on the elderly.
Order comes through as normal but they added products to my cart I didn't ask for or need. The return process is difficult and once I pay for shipping and return fees I don't get my money back. Lost me as a client with this shady business.
I have tried canceling my account three times, including talking with a service rep. And STILL they are trying to ship and charge. Next comes Better Business Bureau, which may not be effective for a foreign company. They should be ashamed of not honoring cancelation requests. Their product is okay, but not better than others like Tena.
Do not subscribe to their service.
Market. My only complaint is the size of the wipes. They are so small. I am not going to order more of them unless they come in a larger size.

My credit card company called and said that there was 5 charges in a row charged from BECAUSE with my credit card from 2 months ago that I cancelled subscription, how they were still using my card is unknown but I emailed the second the frawd dept called me and they said "too late, it's already processing" I said but I didn't authorize this, they said too bad" you will have to pay to return then ".? I never made them.? I called the minute the fraud dept called me? This is unreal
I ordered the underwear because the picture looked like they were fitted. The 2x are fitted around the waistband but the lower part is like bloomers! Oh my gosh I hate the fit and the wrinkles show from under my slacks! Then I liked the band between the legs thinking that it would prevent leaking and it didn't! My urine ran right out onto the floor. I am so very disappointed! It was pretty much a pain to cancel the future orders as Tony kept trying to sell me on more. At least it's cancelled and I'll just have to use these up overnight with a bed pad for protection. This is so disappointing!
Buying *******@the grocery is not always good. When someone else shops for you. I ordered sample from BECAUSE & was sent the brown pullup. Did good & ordered supply.
They did not fit well & rubbed sore area on buttocks. When I called to concel order, young man on phone recommended the female pullup.

The products were ok but when it was time to stop the subscription, it became very difficult. I woudl cfanel, then get a text that an order was coming, then I called (out-of-US customer service) and was kept on the phone for a long time before they promised it was cancelled...I am pretty tech savvy and I worry how an elderly or less technologically proficiant person could possibly cancel a subscription.
I have been order thru Because Market for about 8 months. I found their site when looking for bariatric incontinence supplies. I like that they worked with urologists to create products that pull the liquid in faster than other briends I've tried. Their Because incontinence briefs are marvelous and priced well. I am also a fan of theif washable pads (aka puppy pads for some of us). I have tried all 3 styles and they are wonderful. I found the wipes, sprays and creams to be over priced. The wipes all come in small packs so it feels like you're always looking for another pack. The cleansing spray has a chemical soap smell that is unpleasant. Did not try the supplements.
The Because Market website starts out strong, taking you thru a questionnaire the culminates in free trials of their products being sent. That's the last time it's useful or helpful. There is no search box to help you quickly find items so you have to scroll thru their whole inventory, which is nicely well stocked. Every time you want to get into your account, you have to wait for an email to let you in. Then updating your subscribe and save is impossible without chatting with or talking to someone, you cannot do it by yourself. This adds A LOT of excess time and frustration to getting your supplies. You would think it would make deliveries smoother, but it does not. Mistakes get made when trying to get someone else onboard. I wish they would let me do it myself like all my other sites. The site reminds me of an internal website I ordered office supplies through. It is not set up like a public, user-friendly website.
So they get a fair score because I love thier brief products, but nothing else. If I could purchase Because briefs elsewhere for the same price, I would.
I ordered their nighttime protective underwear for my wife. It's not a very good product because it rips so easily when you try to move it around. Once I found a better product off the shelf at the local drugstore, I tried desperately to cancel my automatic order, but they kept coming and coming! When I thought I had canceled for sure, I received a double order. And when you need to return them, they do not provide a label. I would advise working with some different company.
Decent products, and if they wouldn't be so aggressive regarding making sales, I'd give a solid 4. However due to the "subscription" pushing on their website (have to keep un checking the subscription box) I'd likely write a glowing review... but I cannot since I'm so annoyed right now with them.

I ordered 140 disposable underwear for elderly relative female and the charges was $89,no shipping and tax charges.They charge me in my credit card $110 and they put this order in monthly without any knowledge of mine. I call because to cancel the order they mentioned I must write e mail to them requesting cancel the order and then will send me code to send in mail not return label shipping and will have charge for returning the item.This demonstration for mis leading and fraud.
I am thinking to report this to The US trade commission and also consult with legal advisor..
"Becsuse" is great since it delivers feminine hygiene products directly to the front door. There's no hassle going to the grocery store or standing in line with bulky boxes. No need to shove boxes in the trunk of the car while people stare at what they know your "problem"? (Why should everyone know about your bladder woes?) Yes, I know that lots of women have overactive bladders, but do we have to broadcast it every time we.go to the grocery store to shop? With "Because," I can talk to someone who cares and understands my problem. A customer service rep can help me choose the right absorption size and number of pads suitable for me. "Because" products are quality ones that I feel confident using. There are also other feminine hygiene products reasonably priced that are available. Personally, I am very happy that I found "Because." You might be too!
The worst I have seen in a long time! I ordered the trial for $2.99 for 3 of them. A few weeks later they ship me 60 more for $61.95 if you call them they do nothing! Just call your credit card company & get your money back! I don't know why most of these posts are not doing the same! Got my money back in one day, if they want their crap back send me a shipping label! BEWARE! BEWARE!
I have had numerous run-ins with these people. They NEVER respond. I got a huge supply in the wrong size. They never apologized, never gave me any $$ back. I asked to cancel -- never a reply to that either.
I have been using Because Overnight pads for several months now. I am pleased with this product. I have used many different products and I have not found any other pad that equals this one. It absorbs without spillage. I will be continuing to purchase these for some time.
