Beckett online price guide is terrible, almost all of the cards i attempted to look up did not have an image and 4 cards was not listed at all. With cards of today having multiple types of the same card (refactor, atomic refractor, speckled refractor. Pink, blue, red etc). I find it next to impossibleto know i and looking at the correct item without an image. I discovered these problems on my very first search. I requested cancellation and a refund and was told they do not refund for any reason. So i paid $150 for a useless price guide. If you want a cards market value, DO NOT USE BECKETT!

I wish I read Beckett's reviews before sending anything to them. Any company that doesn't respond to public complaints about their service certainly isn't responding to private complaints. I sent them an autograph to be graded, something went wrong, but not sure what as they refused to get back to me with any answers. It's been six weeks since I started to ask for order status on something I sent in months ago. I now must take them to court or I'm out of the money. Don't make my mistake, read their online reviews, and filter by date. These are not old complaints, protect your investment, by using anyone else.
So someone at Beckett has either messed up and put my card in someone else's slab or it has been stolen.
I have had the slab returned to me with a complete different card inside it.
In the grade it was given its worth about £7800.
They are trying to say that if it can't be found I'm most likely only entitled to the raw value I gave at checkout for shipping insurance despite it not being lost in transit but under Beckett's care.
Apart from this I have had numerous issues with past orders like wrong labels etc.

Waste of time and money, Their phone number they have posted does not work. Its been over a week since i emailed their support and nothing at all from them.
Horrible customer service in regards to online pricing! Can't reach anyone, between emails, phone calls and scheduled phone calls I was 1 for 9 and that was an email telling me they're weren't refunding my $ no matter what! I wanted to discuss situation of auto billing me on my last day of current subscription and that I should be able to. All I got was crickets... Done with Beckett and I have been collecting cards for almost 60 yrs. And about to sell off my collection so they lost alot of grading business which I'm thankful for now.
This has been the worst customer service I have ever had. I have tried for months to get my cards back but can't get in touch with anyone there. I was able to email a salesman but he keeps telling me I will be contacted by FRITZIE who now seems not to exist. I had autograph cards that were authenticated on the cards themself by pro set and embossed with special seal stating they were authentic. Well this was not good enough and I was told they had to be sent off for authentication. Even though the price was different to authenticate the same card signed by two different people I agreed to have it done. Now six months later I have nothing and can't get a hold of anyone except a salesman for new submissions who passes it off to FRITZIE and then nothing. NEVER TRUST THEM WITH ANYTHING I WILL BE FLYING TO TEXAS SOON TO GET THESE CARDS AND DEFINATELY WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. IF THEY OFFERED FREE GRADING I WOULD PASS ON THEM AND WILL NEVER BUY ONE OF THEIR GRADED CARDS AGAIN JUST CANT TRUST THEM HORRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY, STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE.

They don't respond to any form of communication, and you can't call them PSA and SGC MUCH preferred, with better service and less delays in turnaround of graded cards.
After reading all the bad reviews I have to send a good one in. After 14 months of not hearing from Beckett I also was ready to go to the BBB however with the covid 19 and Becketts major move then a new CEO Kunal Chopra it made more sense. Out of blue Saurav Kaushik contacted me with information and sent it to
Dee Braun who worked it and sent it up to Mike Gardner who finally got the order worked. All three of these employees did a good job after August fourth 2022 and with the new CEO in town. I sent another email to Beckett but not sure they received it as there is much more to this story. In closing keep the faith I think Beckett is on a return to good service.

Becket sent me an email order received and being processed.
Called the following week no order CHARLES proceeded to hold my order hostage and said i was banned 4 years ago for not paying a $30 shipping return FEE.
Becket sends NOTHING without payment!
Why process my order NOW they tell me to get back my cards i have to send them $130 money order NOT CREDIT CARD.

I am primarily a coin dealer and use grading services often. I sent 2 cards to Beckett and got 600+ sales emails before the cards arrived. I did get three about my order. Two were responses to my WTF are my cards inquiries. One had a tracking number. First and LAST time customer.
I paid them for magazines and never received them they found me inside their computer and still have not send me my magazines or refund me my money

I sent in three comic books to be graded through CBCS. That was in August. It is now December and I still don't have my books. What's worse is they double charged me (different amounts) for the same three books. That when I call "customer service" it takes me to a call center in India with very polite people saying they will call me back and never do. Saurav is the most recent, and this review is going on this company's page because he has it in his email footer. I WANT MY BOOKS BACK!
Here is one for you. I have been a collector for over fifty years. Approximately 7 months ago I opened several of boxes which I had purchased over time. One was the 2000 contenders, and to my delight I pulled the Brady auto!
Beckett USE to be the place to get your cards graded, BUT OOOO HAVE THE MIGHTY FALLEN... My card was esnt back to me saying they would not grade it because it was FAKE... Mind you I opened the sealed box and ripped the card myself. I called customer service and I wish I got the name of the person I spoke with because there reasoning was... Panini puts fake cards in their packs. CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY ACTUALLY SAID THAT?
Bottom line do not trust Beckett grading, they are a mere shadow of their former selves... worse grading experience and customer service...
Silver lining here is that PSA slabbed the card as authentic... Beckett is joke and if you value your cards send them elsewhere...
Well over a year ago I sent in some cards to be graded. Apparently sometime within those 12 months I lost the card I gave them. I got multiple emails and multiple phone calls over a 2 day period that I need to update my CC for payment. I emailed and called them back within few days and gave them my CC info. Two weeks later I realized I had not received the cards. Below is my email with his response. No wonder they get a 1 star rating.
Me:
You take a year to grade a few cards but you are in such a rush to get paid. I updated my credit card info to you 2 weeks ago. I paid you. Why has it not been shipped? This makes no sense. Send it already.
His response:
Any orders that are declined go on a problem shelve in the vault until they are paid. While we are waiting for payment other orders go in front of them. We ask for payment when the verification stage come up. Your order should ship between now and the end of October.(PASSIVE AGRESSIVE)
- SO THE CARDS WILL SIT ON A SHELF FOR ANOTHER 2 MONTHS. THAT IS 14 MONTHS TOTAL FOR 2 CARDS. DONT DEAL WITH BECKETT, USE PSA. SORRY PEOPLE LIKE CHARLES ARE WHY BECKETT GRADING IS A JOKE.
Answer: Its sad that a company that was a HUGE part of my childhood has turned into such a pathetic display. I used to get so excited when my Beckett arrived. I would love to see them crumble and be bought out by someone who cares and enjoys the hobby.
