Very disappointing

Review for Elite Appliances Unfortunately, my experience with Elite Appliances has been very disappointing. The entire process of getting my dishwasher repaired has been frustrating from start to finish. The wait time just to speak to someone on the phone was unreasonably long, and once I finally got through, the requests for warranty proof were excessive and repetitive. They required payment upfront before even sending someone out, and I paid for parts that, to this day, have not resulted in a repair—apparently due to a "glitch in the system." Despite multiple follow-ups, the overall delay in service has been unacceptable, especially when all I needed was a basic dishwasher repair. Going forward, I will not contacting Elite Appliances.

The freezer part of our refrigerator was not staying cold. We called Elite.
From the beginning, these guys didn't act like repairmen I've known. The lead guy was very argumentative and defensive. The 1st few visits ended by them saying they'd need some part, they'd have it in a few days. The parts NEVER arrived that fast. More like a week. I'd call the office, and that guy would say, we can't help you until the part comes in, but it's coming in tomorrow. It never did. It was a way for them to avoid returning, after specifically promised they would (you know, "when the part gets in.") I had to yell and warn them they being evasive. Finally they showed. The part had been a little magnet on the door open bell. It was completely irrelavent.

He put in more freon. No help. So he put in more freon. It worked for 2 days. Then he sealed the inside of freon system. That helped for 5 days. All of this cost about $500. He did say freon and seal were not guarenteed. He should have pronounced the thing dead, not upsold us over it. Since then they haven't called or appeared. The workmenship just kept getting worse and worse as the expenses climbed. Now fridge is useless junk. I wouldn't want to call either if I were them.

Dishwasher Repair

Elite appliance didn't review the appliance properly before identifying the root issue. The technician didn't pull the machine from the area it lies or open it to see what all was going on with it. Stuck a flash light and hand under and decided he needs what it was and moved on. Had assumptions and ordered part with warranty company based on that. It took a month for the company to return and service. Yet again didn't complete the job. Having to get another appliance company out to do the job properly.

Ii called after my LG refrigerator stoped getting cold. Dylan told me they did repair LG, I also had a stand up freezer that the automatic cleaner wasn't working on and the ice shutoff didn't work. Justin the repair person came in, looked at the refrigerator said it was the compressor, it was under warranty and left me the wrong number to call LG. LG said an authorized repair company needed to call for the part! I called Elite back and they told me their LG person is on a medical leave! Attached is the "clean ice machine, that still produces too much ice and the cleaner still doesn't work! So for $178. I need to call another company that can do the proper repair! The cleaning was $89. It's not that clean, the stop ice sensor still doesn't work and the clean light is still on because he didn't repair it either.

I paid for a part I did not need, I was told I needed another part that was not the problem, the person you call to discuss the problem with is very disrespectful. Awful service.

Had to call multiple times for shipping status and received differing reports each time. Finally I was told that the item had shipped. The tracking number email included a link that opened a "404 Error" page. After not receiving the item in a week, I called and was told that the item actually had never shipped. I was told that the item would be taken to UPS that day and a tracking number emailed to me. Two days later, I still had not received an email with a tracking number and had to call yet again. The item had not shipped. Uncle. When the product finally arrived, the quality of the item was disappointing, although that had everything to do with the manufacturer and nothing to do with Elite. Overall, a terrible purchase with poor customer service.

My only negative comment is probably my own fault. My builder kept saying "the appliance company should have leveled the frig" When you order on line, I guess you can't expect that kind of service.

I was told in order to get the price quoted and pick up date from the store I had to buy the product at that moment, I had no problem with that. The fridge was not their on the day promised, this fridge is used for beverages on my patio and I was for entertaining that weekend and since it wasn't available until the following week we used coolers.

Terrible service from the order to delivery was almost 2 weeks. It went to 2 different delivery services after it left your store 5 days after you said it would. The delivery service that you sent it to in San Diego did not deliver to Coronado so it sat another day and night waiting for another delivery company to pick it up. None of this you were able to relay to me after calling many times. No-one knew what the other was doing. Ann Kennedy
