Seamless experience shipping from Hawaii to mainland
We booked a transport and were told that the vehicle would arrive in Hawaii by a certain date. That date then changed by two weeks without us being notified and it completely through off our plans. The customer support team was not empathetic and declined giving us any sort of discount despite the added costs we will now incur because of the change in their plans.
I cannot express more, the absolute frustration I have had with this company.
They mislead me into believing all I need was my insurance, registration and ID to ship the car, I asked multiple times if I needed anything else with all of the booking information to ship my car. I was told just fill the departure information, name of who is shipping the car, all necessary information was taken care of the last thing they needed was my money.
Every time I called to reverify, they answered until I paid. Now I cannot get any help.
And after asking for help (yes I was frustrated on the phone, who wouldn't be) I was hung up on.
She told me there are only two shipping companies and I don't really have an option
If I leave it at the harbor it will be stolen or broken into and vandalized… if I don't figure it out, it isn't her issue

You need a notary and forms from your bank along with your title, registration and id and insurance.
If I had known the notary and other forms, I would have been aware and ready… I would have planned accordingly.
They did not tell me anything, they continued to ask for all my payment methods and tried to sell me more insurance. As soon as I gave them this they refused to help.
And when I told them I was going to write the reviews, Michelle, Chase and Laura all said we don't care.
So if they don't care, please please do not use them.

I used them before and got used to zero communications but this last time the carrier they hired totalled my vehicle. Very rare vehicle not many in the US. they called to say they apologize and that they would refund my shipping fees. Now I have sent 3 emails left numerous voicemails for the last couple weeks and got not a single response. Do not use this company what ever you do. They are complete worthless scum. The insurance the offer is fraud they will only pay it if the carriers insurance declines the claim, and since they are only a broker the they never truly have the vehicle in there possession so there for they charge you for no service that they will use.
Dont use them. There are cheaper more reliable companies including going directly through Pasha who is who they use. I've shipped one car previously and had to deal with an employee booking the shipment incorrectl. I just got a quote for shipping another car and the employee was rude saying I shipped one car that is still in storage (I have multiple vehicles) and then becoming argumentative and hanging up on me when I said that was wrong information. When I called back he kept hanging up on me. Save yourself the headache with this unprofessional company and go through someone else. If you do choose to book and need to speak with an actual person your average wait time is about 20 minutes.
My corvette was damaged in shipment and the company has not responded to my claim! My car was intentionally left between two vehicles so that I would have been forced to get on the ground, on my back, and look up to see what happened. I have not heard anything since I presented my claim. I would not use this company to build a doghouse! They are deceitful and dishonest. Whoever was in my car when it was damaged would have known that something happened. They chose to cover it up and ignore me and my claim.
I never write reviews, but if I could give this company less than 1 star trust me I would! There was ZERO communication along the way, starting from when and how to drop off my cars (I was shipping 2 cars from Hawaii to Colorado). Once I completed the booking online and received the initial email, there was no instructions on how to drop my cars off and I made 2 trips to the other side of the island before being to accomplish this seemingly simple task. We had to pay $200 for each car to be stored there before shipping since I couldn't drop it off on the exact day, even though they say "flexible drop off" - it's not. It was a SUPER shady experience dropping my cars off in this fenced lot with a trailer as an "office", but there we were - their employee with a clipboard, a pen and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Over the next 3 weeks, I tried multiple times to call HCT and email them to see how I would know when my cars would be delivered. I also emailed PASHA and it was them who told me I would be contacted once my car was unloaded in California and a carrier was selected. Late Friday afternoon I received an email stating that the estimated delivery would be Monday - no other information was provided. I immediately tried calling HCT, I tried emailing, I tried contacting the carrier service that was assigned, anything I could think of to find out when my cars would be delivered. Keep in mind, I scheduled "port to door" service and believed my cars would be delivered to my door. Fast forward to 9:30 Monday morning and I get a call from the carrier service saying that I needed to meet his driver at noon at a location 20 miles from my house. I had to scrounge at the last minute to figure out how to get there with 2 other drivers in order to pick up my cars. This all could have been avoided with communication on their part. No one answers the phone with HCT, they don't respond to emails, their online chat is not a thing and the "live tracking" just takes you to a stats of what you already know. Do NOT use this company. Ship directly with PASHA, find someone else - use anyone but Hawaii Car Transport!
I shipped my vehicle from Hawaii, and once it shipped and got to mainland (California) I am unable to get in contact with anybody from Hawaii Car Transport (HCT)! The funny and interesting thing about the whole experience is as I was looking for a reliable company to ship my vehicle, I contacted HCT, and they called me several times, emailed me several times, and even texted me several times to gain my business. I unfortunately went with them and now I am stuck without a vehicle and nobody to talk to. I have called about 12 times and each time I have waited for about an hour or more which leads to the phone just hanging up. There is no way they are that busy! Will update this review once and if I get my vehicle.
Don't be fooled. Hawaii Car Transport ships nothing except your contract. After contracting with them it was near impossible to communicate with anyone regarding the shipment. I often waited 45 minutes only to finally give up waiting for someone to answer. Ship directly with a shipping company is my heartfelt recommendation. HCT grabs you with a top search engine, don't be fooled.Don't pay the extra hundred of dollars to a middle man company whose communication and customer service is nonexistant. A, D minus to F grade for Hawaii Car Transport. Never Again!
Days before my scheduled pick up, they called me to verify my information and I had told them the day of pick up I had an appointment at 2 so anything after 3 would work fine for pickup. They told me because I would only be gone shortly, the drivers could work around the schedule. The day of pickup, the driver called me around noon asking if he could come pick up my car now. I had told him I've spoken with the company days before saying anything 3 or later would be best and if he can stop by around that time. The driver said he wasn't sure if he would be available then to pick up my car so he would give me a call back if not another driver would pick my car up later that day or the next. Hours had gone by and I've heard nothing and I spent over an hour on hold waiting to get ahold of someone. Even the driver didn't answer my call. Once they answered, the woman told me the driver never said anything to them about not being able to pick up my car and because of that no replacement driver was scheduled to pick up my car at all. She told me she would handle it and would give me a call back. Once again hours pass by and I heard absolutely nothing from anyone so I spent an hour and a half on the phone and reached no one because during my hold time their office closed. So now I have no one scheduled to pick up my car, no one has gotten back to me and I know nothing about anything. I move in 3 days and spent hours trying to find a different car shopping service that was open and would give me a new quote last minute. This is the worst company I've ever worked with they are 100% unreliable and good luck trying to reach their customer service.
