I was approved for a PPP loan and I was never able to accept the loan do to issues with their website. I called them over 50 times and sent numerous e-mails with no response. When you call your call is automatically dropped after a few minutes in the Que. Now my PPP loan is denied because I could not take action within the 20 day time limit and I am being told I can't apply for another loan by other Lenders. Worst customer service ever and their actions will have implications to my employees and their lives. I can't even apply using another lender. I would never recommend using them for anything.
Very disappointed
I was approved for a PPP loan but, can't get the funds deposited into my account. I've called and emailed dozens of times in the past two weeks to try and get my account info updated but no response. Now they tell me my loan offer may be cancelled. It would just take a few minutes to help me, it seems crazy they wont even respond or try to help. Don't take on loans you can't service when people's businesses are on the line
Tried to get an online checking account with them. Was asked to "provide documents" multiple times despite providing them and making multiple calls with their staff from India who were useless. Was sent a rejection email today because "I didn't call them to confirm documents." Kabbage seems like another indian scam.
I have called a million times with no answer. It has my bank account on profile, even did the micro deposits, however it won't allow me to verify my bank. Now they have suspended funding. I had high hopes of getting my business back on track.
Signed up and their link to my other bank was old. Notified them a week ago and still hasn't been fixed. I thought I'd try to deposit a check - their website indicates I just need to select Deposit Check from the Account Overview screen on the mobile app. Might be great if there were actually a Deposit Check option on the app Account Overview screen! I thought this would be a solid product now with the Amex tie-in. Could not have been more wrong. Really regret signing up for this account.
I have a 680 fico, they did hard pull, and gave them linked bank accounts with+50k mn deposits and they are still evaluating three weeks later. I called customer service many times and they can't help. Just wait for computer. Seems like a scam. For line of credit
Kabbage approved my PPP loan. I attempted to connect my bank account and had to call 27 times to be told to try again since they have a 1 minute recorded message and hang up on you after another 3. Emails to support whent unanswered. Another 15 calls and I got through to somebody that solved the problem. They the attempted to fund my PPP loan but they put numbers in the recipient name field so Chase declined the transfer. Kabbage asked for more documents which I provided and now Kabbage is now refusing to redo the transfer and so I will not get my approved PPP loan. I would give zero stars if I could. Do NOT work with this company. They are incompetent scammers. I will be contacting a lawyer.
As so many others wrote their PPP loan application customer service was non existent, they didn't approve, although I was clearly eligible, called them many times and emailed them, never got through to a human until today, when I suddenly received a humans email response more than a month after the PPP loan deadline.
They shouldn't have offered this service, if they cant deal with it and don't have any customer service, companies were relying on them and lost out by being told that the loans weren't going through after PPP application deadline, we could have applied with other banks, who would have communicated with us.
Shame on Kabbage, they are a group of incompetents and frauds!
Wasting peoples time and misleading them.
They owe apologies to hundreds of small businesses, however their apologies wont help at all.
At one time offered business loans, but cut all customers' lines of credit to $0 without warning (Google the Bloomberg article reporting on Kabbage related to this topic). I'd question everything about this firm's management practices, and would steer well clear of a business relationship with them.
It will be more benefits if you can Increase credit amount for customers based on time they have been with the company and their payment history. It's not necessary that only linked network can determine amount for existing customer in good standing
Thomas Lynch has been nothing but helpful and courteous in dealing with a situation with a client who is refusing to pay us for two very expensive projects. While we work on a resolution, we have used Kabbage to fill the void left by this customer. And while I appreciate Thomas' high degree of professionalism, the Kabbage loan terms are themselves extremely steep. I recommend them as a stopgap for situations like ours where you can pass along the expense, but they are a costly choice to fund business growth. I am giving them four stars for Thomas Lynch, and knocking off one star because they position themselves as a company that helps small businesses grow, and objectively their terms do not support that.
Due to emergency/ unforeseen circumstances, my biz had to close for 6 weeks right after we secured our loan. We're back open and paying the loan back, just a bit slower than anticipated because of the close. I asked for small extension/ higher pay back rate based on circumstances (which I proved to be true), but I'm told it cannot be changed at all, and that its all automatic. Trying to work out a reasonable solution to make payments asap, but getting no help from CS. When I ask to speak with a Sup I am told "they are in a meeting"- 4 times now.
Their ads says $50,000 min, in business one year. Jumped through all kind of hoops providing info only to be denied for the reasons I discussed in the interview. Will not get a second chance to say no.

The customer service agent was awesome, patient and so helpful in regards to payment options. She explained how the 3 different ways I can pay off my account. I would highly recommend Kabbage to any business looking for quick cash to help their business~
Kabbage claims they are "supporting" everyone in regions impacted by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Instead, they have chosen to all but eliminate the credit lines of business owners in these regions. Their actions as a company speak so much louder than their words.
As Kabbage customer for over two years, I have a solid payment track record and millions in revenue. I'm shocked at their decision to virtually eliminate my line of credit.
These regional decisions were made without reviewing ANY financial information. My businesses were closed for two days, didn't sustain any damage and the only significant issue we had to work around was loss of internet service. This impact is comparable to a snow storm in the north during the winter. According to the manager I spoke with they are NOT adjusting credit lines on a case by case basis as they've publicly stated.

As a new customer with Kabbage, I had a few questions and issues with the overall process, primary/secondary accounts and so forth, shortly after receiving approval.
When I spoke with Anna during my first call, it was obvious that she works with each client personally and takes ownership to resolve the issue completely.
In my case, she went out of her way to speak with the operations staff about my issue, communicated with me about what needed to happen and set realistic expectations about timing for resolution. When it was resolved, she made sure that all was in order and that I was all set to use the account.
Anna's just taken the same personal approach in resolving a more recent issue, so it's obvious that she truly "gets it" and does what it takes to address all client concerns.

Greg B. Thoroughly explained the process and worked to have my monthly interest rate reduced. I really appreciate his efforts in getting the available funds needed for my business in a timely manner. I am very pleased with how quickly this process was handled.
I've taken out two loans using Kabbage because I needed to fund my inventory requirements quickly. The process to obtaining loans from them is easy, but the terms are are too predatory for me to come back. The high interest rate with fees that I paid were 28% for 6 months for both loans. Annualized that's 56% interest rate. They connect to your bank, paypal and ebay to ensure they'll collect. I don't have a problem paying that monthly commitment as I contractually agreed to do, however, I have excellent business records and have always paid bills on time. For them to charge such high fees, to me, is considered a scam. Then after the loans are paid in full, they no longer allow me to borrow again. That's fine, I will never do so. To Kabbage and your interest rate algorithm - hope it blows up in your face.

If this is even legal they are just bending the law, using things like fee instead of interest rate... Complete scam... Trust me they will be investigated soon... In any loan if you pay off part of the loan you should only be charged interest or fee on the amount you owe... Not with them. If you borrow $1000 and repay $900 in a 5 days, they charge you full interest/fee on the full $1000... NEVER HEARD OF THIS... Don't Do It... This is a bad loan... You have to be very desperate. It was my fault I didn't read the entire agreement but the rep said you only get charged for your outstanding balance...
Answer: I definitely would not recommend Kabbage to anyone, but especially to someone starting a new business. The interest and fees will kill your new business before you've even had a chance to get it started. I own a small business (2 employees, $200K in annual sales) that is over 15 years old, and the Kabbage loan I took out for $25K for an expansion nearly bankrupted my business. There are better ways to find funding for a new business - grants are out there for women who want to start a business, you can try your luck at crowdfunding (look at Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Rocket Hub, Crowdrise, Angellist, Quirky, and others), approach local friends or family members who would like to invest in your business (you can use ZimpleMoney, com to keep track of their loan payments). Kabbage is a stupid and dangerous way to start up a business. Only a complete idiot would do that.

Answer: Hi Jessica, you can go on their site and enter the amount you want to "borrow" and Kabbage will give you this information up front before you agree to receiving the cash. I borrowed $21,000 and paid nearly $8,000 in interest and fees. It HURT my business, very much! I strongly encourage you to try other companies or look to local lending networks or a local bank.
Answer: It's based on them having access to your bank account through you online banking. You need to provide your institution and password so they have full access to your account. They are not trustworthy. Do not allow them access to that information.
