The company exhibits a mixed reputation, with some customers praising the professionalism and efficiency of the technicians, as well as their responsiveness and clear communication. However, significant concerns arise regarding unprofessional behavior, lack of expertise, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight issues such as overcharging, poor handling of complaints, and unsafe practices, leading to feelings of frustration and mistrust among clients. Overall, while there are instances of satisfactory service, the prevalence of negative experiences suggests a pressing need for improvements in training, customer support, and operational transparency.

Will rob you blind and trap you into terms you weren't made aware of
Do not give your card details to these people! Absolute cowboys.
This company makes their money from call out fees on jobs that they know they can't complete. The plumber himself told me they can only fit 3 out of 10 hobs they attend. I was not offered the opportunity to check the measurements to see if the hob is safety compliant prior to the visit. This is something they should have told me about prior to coming.
As I am not a gas engineer, this is the responsibility of the company to check before wasting other peoples time and money. But of course, that way they would not receive their £120 per 'customer' who enquires.
Plumber arrived late, not in uniform, no shred of professional demeanor. He told me he could not fit my cooker due to a number of safety concerns. He did not offer any solution other than to pay someone else to do it who "might turn a blind eye". I booked what I thought would be a simple service, and of course I want to abide by safety regulations, however I was not prepared to pay £120 to be told something they could have told me over the phone.
Save yourself the trouble and don't took this company, especially if you are a young disabled council tenant who had waited a month without a cooker to be able to afford this.
Heartless company
Horrendous. Sent the wrong type of engineer, without experience on an oil boiler. All that needed fixing was a two port value, subsequently broke entire system. Hung around for three hours whilst I was working, so the company attempted to charge my account AGAIN for the pleasure of breaking the system, despite me not signing out the job as completed. Absolutely fraudulent. My family is currently sitting in a cold house, waiting for another company on an emergency call out to fix it.
I was overcharged for the time the engineer spent at my property and have camera evidence but how can I claim my money back if they're not responding to my emails it is only £78 but it's principal as how many more people is this happening to
I found Plumbing Force using Google.
I told the woman on the phone I needed a plumber to come and tell me if a dishwasher could be installed. She said it would be a minimum of 1 HOUR'S WORK at £118 and that she would email me the T&Cs. She did not e-mail me the T&Cs.
The plumber turned up with a bad attitude and was so rude and disrespectful, I told him to leave within 2 minutes. He clearly did not want to be here, and seemed completely clueless as to why he was here. He said: 'you might as well let me do the work, your gonna get charged anyway mate'. He made £118 in two minutes for no work. Not a bad scam. The narrative on his invoice is complete lies.
I called and made a complaint and requested a refund and was told that they sent me a text message (T&Cs), which I never received. I said that on the phone I was told they would be emailed, but I never received them. Anyway, I didn't agree to their T&Cs. Ridiculous to suggest they were agreed. That is clearly what they do, they will tell you, you have agreed things that you did not. That way they make a quick £118 a time. Pretty good con or is it Plumbing Force just using Force.
This is a scam in my opinion. What they are claiming is essentially a call-out charge (disguised as a minimum hour's work). They take your pre-payment credit card details in advance (do not give them your card details in advance) and they will take the payment of £118 without your consent, even if no work is done.
They also record phone calls but do not tell you that they are recording your phone calls in advance. What reputable company does that? I doubt they are conplying with Data Protection laws. Since providing them with my mobile number, I have received numerous prank calls. They deny leaking my number.
In my opinion, this is a very dodgy company that should be investigated by Trading Standards and the ICO. I bet they have made a mint with this £118 a time call out charge scam.
They say they have been trading for 10 years, but are not even CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering) accredited.
"Anyone working on just pipework such as fitting bathrooms, sinks, drainage or taps does not need to be registered or accredited to any standard, however it is highly recommended that at the very least they are CIPHE Accredited, as this ensures that they follow a code of professional standards and protects you the customer should you have any cause for concern after the work has been carried out."

I will claim my money back via my credit card dispute resolution process. Daylight robbery this is.
We reported a boiler error F2,F3,L1 with the company Plumbingforce. A technician initially advised replacing the fan to sort the problem. Charge: Inspection + New fan for a total of £607.02. However, an hour later, the problem persisted. Upon reaching out to the company due to the one-year warranty, the technician revisited, suggesting a different issue and said it could be something else which he didn't know unless he fully assess, an additional 6 hours of inspection at £144/hour. We contacted customer service and they declined responsibility.
Now, we're without a boiler, facing a cost of = £607.02 + Visit 15 minutes: £144 Total: -£751.02.
I gave 1 ppint just because I can't give -5. My encounter with PlumbingForce while seeking to install a gas hob and left me greatly dissatisfied. Despite an initial agreement to charge by work hours, I was charged £118.80 upfront for a job that wasn't done. The engineer's mere assessment led to a new quote of £410 + VAT, shifting from hourly charges to a total job cost. This abrupt change, combined with no refund for the advance payment, has left me feeling like a victim of a potential scam.
I did my gas safety survey with them, it said boiler was ok... when I move to the property three days later gas boiler doesn't work and they ask me for 100 quid more to come and repair it. The manager has the worst manners, speaking over me, not letting me speak, aggressive. Really bad experience with them...
Robbing and incompetent. DO NOT USE. Called out to identify and fix a leak. Paid £1600 for work to be carried out. Leak not fixed and found out later work was unnecessary. Charged another £350 to actually fix the leak. Then they just took additional money (~£200) out of my bank account without authorisation or issuing an invoice. Do not give them your bank details. Avoid at all costs.
Called to get a quote. The lady was just about to say £89+VAT as advertised on website and emailed to me and then quoted £99+VAT saying the site 'hadn't been updated yet'. This is wrong as the price shown should have been honoured.
Great job done by a friendly tradesman and same day service to get my leak repaired would highly recommend
Great service - a very polite plumber who sorted the problem quickly and efficiently and explained everything in detail. Made some sensible suggestion so whilst a rad was off the wall, I was happy for him to do a small additional piece of work. Made dealing with an urgent and unexpected event less of a drama. Thank you.
I needed a new gas hob installing. PF were able to send a gas-safe engineer within a few hours. Phil was extremely quick and did a great job. Would definitely call on PF again.
Ivan visited us and was super helpful! He did the boiler service really quickly and checked a leak concern that I had! Amazing service and highly recommend.
Fantastic service - prompt, helpful & brilliant workmanship fitting a gas hob to replace an old one.
Had a leak in the tank and the plumber they sent replaced it with a multiblock valve add 2 hours work and the plumber knowing he had us because it was somewhat urgent gave us the spiel that it was either replace the tank which would cost thousands or replace the valve for £1000. I should have known better with the high pressure techniques he was using but my husband panicked because of the water leaking so we gave the go-ahead. To rub salt into the would, the plumber dripped black liquid all over the carpet, bed and soft furnishings; even having the foresight to turn the duvet on the bed over and place the old valve directly on the bottom sheet and then cover it so we wouldn't see what he had done. The invoice sent by email just had £1008 and I called and asked for a breakdown and it said 'excluding VAT £840 and VAT 168. I have since had a Checkatrade plumber round who informs me the valve cost at most £150 so we paid over £700 for a couple of hours labour. We received a £100 to clean the carpet and it cost more than double that! The plumber himself was somewhat menacing and clearly has no respect for the sanctity of a person's home. I felt and still feel violated.
Engineer kept me updated throughout the process and explained the work that was being carried out. Really great guy and fantastic job. Big thank you to Ameet for a fantastic job.
Worked efficiently and quickly to deal with the issue went off and got new shower returning quickly to fix the problem, Albert is a great member of staff discussed options.
Quoted work for just gas related things, then had a plumbing issue the night before. Thwy added that to the job and made my day better, all within original cost estimate + parts costs. Friendly engineer happy to explain and talk through it all, so o feel i understand what has been done and why it's been done. Will definitely use again if i face other gas or plumbing concerns, especially as the plumbing bit was added the same day they came out.
Ben investigated the problem with our boiler & explained clearly what the problem was. He then solved the problem quite quickly & carried out a full test of the boiler & heating system.
Promised an engineer between 1pm and 5pm they rang 4:30pm to tell me they had a job over run so couldn't make it toady rebooted 10am to 2pm they rang saying they couldn't make could they rebook 2pm to 6pmat this request I cancelled the call. They were stringing me on till they were able to an engineer free. Problem is too many people accept it, I will never give this company any work again.
Answer: I have also had the misfortune of dealing with her. Possible she has a borderline personality disorder of some type,,, but whatever, she should never be in a front facing position dealing with customers. In any company. Disaster.
