Do not order from this company! I ordered a salt cell from them April of last year for $450. It no longer works just over a year later and the company (Pool Supply World/Leslie's) did absolutely nothing for me to make things right. Said they could offer a 10% discount on a new cell…No thanks. I'll be taking my money to a company who values their customers. If you're thinking of using them please think again. Awful.
They used to be good five years ago, but by now they are completely unfriendly, rude and tread customers of long years very badly.
After spending thousands of $ over the years there, I have stopped shopping there.
Price offered me for chlor tabs with $60 discount... they reneged and did not credit my account after many correspondence showing proof of their advertisement. Definitely a scam price to get u to buy and then u get screwed
Happy with my order. I knew what I needed, ordered it and they delivered it. Saved $200 from local retailers. My order arrived in three days. Its important for the buyer to know what they need in order to avoid returns. I would do business with them again. I recommend them. Just make sure you know what you need.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND THERE warrantees are not worth the paper that they are written on. I purchased a solar pool cover that didn't last 4 months, fell apart all of the "bubbles" came off. So much for the 2 yr FULL warrantee. The cover was CRAP, cheaply made a total waste of money. Not surprised after reading the other reviews!

A credit card hold will be placed and then you will wait, and wait and wait. You'll check in on status and get 3 different answers from 3 different people. One will tell you item is in stock, next person will tell you it's about to be shipped and then when you finally think it may actually be fulfilled, they will tell you it is back on a backorder status.
Horrible Customer Service!
I ordered 4 replacement filter cartridges for a Quad DE 100 on their website. After one week, the items were in stock, but stuck in the final stages of shipping (according to their order review and customer service rep). I spoke with the customer service rep who told me it takes over a week to ship an item and 7-10 business days in transit. When I pushed back on a standard 3 week delivery timeframe, the customer service rep told me they were sorry the order couldn't be "received by your standard time frame". Three weeks isn't my standard time frame, that is well above industry standards. If I had purchased through Amazon, I could get the item in 1-5 days... not three weeks. I was expecting 1-1.5 weeks. LAST PURCHASE EVER from PoolSupplyWorld.com! I will NEVER buy from them again!"

This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I almost never write reviews, but I hope that others might avoid the **horrible** experience we have had with Pool Supply Unlimited. We spent almost $3,000 on a pool heater. When we opened the box there was a huge dent on the side.
We have called and emailed this company countless times over the past two weeks with ZERO response. We had one of our inquiries that we submitted to the Pool Supply Unlimited website forwarded to the heater's manufacturer who responded that we had to take the issue up with Pool Supply Unlimited. We called the manufacturer to see if we could order a replacement part ourselves, and the manufacturer told us that we had to contact Pool Supply Unlimited because since the heater arrived damaged our warranty is voided if we don't return it.
Despite our many, many times reaching out no one has ever returned a call or an email. We get automated email messages back that someone from Pool Supplies Unlimited will get back to us within 48 hours, which of course they don't. No one has ever answered the phone, we only receive recordings that due to COVID they are busy but will get back to us.
Many of us have had challenges due to COVID, but it is not an excuse to take customers' money and then say you are too busy to reply if they have a problem. If you have too many orders to provide customer service, don't sell any more products to customers!
This is starting to feel like a giant scam. We have a $3,000 damaged pool heater in our driveway and no idea how to proceed.
I am happy for the customers who were lucky to have an experience with this company that was issue free. To new customers though, please be aware of the company's utter lack of response or concern with problems with their products.
We bought a pool heater last spring right as covid was spiking. When we recieved the pool heater it was a smaller version and cheaper than what we ordered. I tried over and over to contact some one with no luck. We also received a vacuum. This spring we went to use the vac it didnt work. I contact some one via email. They were going to check into the heater and the vacuum that was 2 months ago still nothing. They did give us a case number. Dont know why they dont follow up on anything! SCAMMERS RIP OFF DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$$$
Trying returning something. Product came damaged and reboxed. Three weeks later no return. They are the worste company ever. Div of Leslies pools and in the swim. I will never ever ever spend a dime with these companies again. They make it so hard to get a hold of that you give up on the returns. DO NOT BE SCAMMED.
Customer service worst ever. Offshore Co. Needed to return purchased pool part that was wrong, CSR. Said I needed to take pic. And Email to her, then she said they would Email FedX return label after 5 calls the gave me part return #. Still no FedX label called back talked to another CSR gave him return # said the # was not in system wants another pic. I Quoted there mission statement and return policy. Never order from this Co.
I placed an order for 3 in Chlorine tabs on May 5th 2021 and order was accepted and charge was placed against my credit card. 14 May I receive an email stating order was cancelled. No explanation, no offer of substitution, no anything!. If I could give less than 1 star I would! Pool Supply World will see no more business traffic from me! Do yourself a favor and find another supplier for your pool needs.
I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing because I would not have. I needed to replace a pool heater after a freak storm, nothing locally, so went here which is where I thought I bout the original. I order and talk to customer service about a few things including ability to cancel or return, what any charges would be. They couldn't help would be determined at time of return. The product that arrived was not what was pictured - I'm assuming what arrived was a newer model. Then I realize my error, I ordered pAropane instead of natural gas. I thought I'd ordered natural gas but didn't, so I reorder the natural gas and the nightmare of the return process begins. I've asked them by email, phone, facebook, messenger what the return charge is for freight and assume they would disclose a restocking fee (which was never mentioned to me) and NO ONE answered that simple direct question. They say a 'higher up' needs to approve a return, then it's a 'system issue', then a pick up is scheduled when I'm out of town (I even communicated I would be out but they didn't bother checking. All that being done when they couldn't answer the simple questions I needed answered - what the return charges. The bleeping thing is in the box, screwed to a pallet in my garage for weeks and now near or at the end of their return date. I can only assume that is part of the 'game' to delay and can only guess i"ll get a response from some rando that it's passed my return date. I'm only left able to file a complaint with BBB and chalk up a lesson learned. I should have read the google summary that most people are dissatisfied with their exerpience as am i. That and both units didn't have manuals like my last one and were missing the unions that Hayward said are supposed to come with them (I called Hayward and the confirmed that).
If no one on the plant sells other then this company sells a skimmer basket, may try them out but if your purchase is any more consequential there are lots of other alternatives.
We were pleasantly surprised at the price we were able to get. Originally the filter was $1200 at Leslie's. There it was on sale for $799. Pool Supply World had it for $450. It arrived in 24 hours from the time of our order.
They had the best price but I wish I had read the negative reviews before ordering. My product arrived in a non-manufacturers box and there were missing parts. The customer service was very shady and not timely. It reminded me of purchasing a used car with a so-called warranty from a scammer! I never got a direct answer regarding the problem.
I ordered a new cell for my salt pool, I ordered it on 10/1 and it was delivered by Fedx on 10/4. It works perfectly, no issues at all
I wish we would have read the negative reviews prior to ordering from this company. Wish I could give them a Zero/5. Ordered product (filters) online which indicated they were in stock. After 10 days of waiting - I phoned Pool Supply World to discover that the delay in shipping was that the item was NOT in stock and not due to BE in stock for 4 weeks. Bank Account charged anyway. Supposedly cannot cancel order because it's "already in progress". Soooo - I am charged $200+ for an item I don't have, does not have a ship date, does not have an ETA date, and cannot be canceled. I was told I can return it once I receive it - but they can't tell me when I should expect to receive it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. BEWARE.
Ordered s pool pump, got the order confirmation and they charged my card same day. Took 4 days to get through to Customer Service, and still they would not say where the product is being shipped from and if the product was shipped, back ordered, coming from China. No status - only we'll ley you know in 48-72 hours.
Worst service ever!
Ordered an in ground pool filter pump over the weekend and I was able to correct the problem and cancelled the order later that day. Order shipped Monday and received the pump on Wednesday. Notified customer service regarding the error and they sent me a return shipping label for the product. No charges. Recommend this company and will use them in the future. My experience with them has been positive.

Answer: I never received my Raypak after waiting 10 weeks. It took about an additional 3 weeks and numerous phone calls to get my refund.
Answer: Pricing was slightly better -- In the end, totally NOT worth it. I imagine if everything would have gone well it could have been a positive experience? However, if you have any issues, this may be the worst company on the planet to do business with. Horrible customer service!
