My husband and I had a terrible experience at the Riverside Drive location in St George Utah this past week. We had appointments to donate blood, but from the moment we walked in, we were met with unprofessionalism.

Upon arrival, the front desk was unattended, so we scanned our donation cards and took a seat. A staff member named Presley, who was sitting across the room, yelled at us, "Do you have an appointment?" We confirmed that we both did. She then asked if we had checked in. We explained that we believed we had checked in by scanning our cards—a process she would have understood had she been at the desk. I also mentioned completing the rapid pass online, to which she retorted, "That has nothing to do with checking in."

We were shocked by her rudeness. We donate blood to help save lives, and no one should be spoken to that way, especially when many donors are already nervous, as I was. Due to this hostile treatment, we left without donating. Presley is clearly unsuited for a role that requires compassion and customer service. I expected more from a reputable organization.

Could not care less about the hostages held in Gaza! Personally, I don't believe anyone should support a "charity" organization that discriminates against anyone; Jewish, Israeli or otherwise. Am Yisrael Chai!

I will never donate blood again because of the unwanted phone calls. I hope the phone calls was worth losing a blood donation and getting a bad name. I've told the Red Cross to stop several times through the years but still get the phone calls. Now I have lower working on it.I hope it was worth it.

Just found out ARC is one of the NGOs that spends millions to help illegals come to the US.Dont give them another cent!

I was involved with an on-line chat for over an hour asking questions about becoming an instructor. I never did get the answers I was looking for even after having to restart the chat several times,

My fiance and I recently lost everything we owned including our beloved pets. We were told to contact red cross for help with housing and everyday essentials. My fiance called they took our info and said they'd call us back. We never heard back from them even after my fiance tried contacting them two more times both times was told they'd call back.

So RC has got a map out which shows illegals how to get here. The CEO makes 3 mil a year and I get either a t shirt or a coffee mug. Lol. Pay attention people.

Never give them your phone number. I in the past donated every 2 months. One time my hemoglobin was too low and I was denied. It was my last time donating to them. I received constant phone calls on my mobile and home phone about donating. I have asked so many times for them to take me off of their list because I am so tired of being harassed. I just got a blocked call from them but I still have to erase the message that they leave despite my pleas. I will start writing a negative review for every call I get a in different sites. Let's see how quickly they rack up. I will still donate when I hear of non Red Cross donation drives, but never again will I donate to them. You shouldn't either unless you like being harassed

I donated blood for the first time in years. My only issue was their loud R&R music with such a loud base because I could not hear them over it. I noticed other donors asking them to repeat instructions, questions or their directions to follow. I get they want to play music but just not so loud. We cannot HEAR you. Plus I hate R&B. I just wanted to get out of there.

I signed up for, studied and hands on certified for adult and child first aid, cpr and aed than after getting the thumbs up I met requirements by the instructor I left, it wasn't the best class, not terrible. Decent I guess for knowledge if you know nothing coming in. However they only gave me my adult certification despite signing up, for studying and testing in adult and child. Upon emails they are less than helpful and just will send you an automated response a 3rd of the time. I suggest and will be for myself finding a better organization but the bar isn't to high.

The Red Cross is illegally funding and supporting illegal immigrants, some terrorists entering the country. And hiding it from the public. Not willing to tell us why they're doing it and not willing to give interviews. Secretly working behind the scenes with the intent of destroying our constitution but spreading out mass immigration throughout our nation to put ALL Americans at risk of threat here at home. This company is tyrannical and I'm grateful I've never been one to support such scumbags.

Set up an appt and answered questions, get to the site to donate and was greeted by a rude lady saying we had to scan a code and answer another 50 queations. I said, "we just want to donate blood" she was soooo rude amd said "well that has to be done " looked at my husband and said "let's just go donate at kaiser, they don't want your first born to donate"
This was at a mobile site at the downey promenade in Downey California.
You all want us to help, but you don't have nice people running it at this spot and why soooo many questions.
We have appts set up at kaiser to donate blood and plasma..

Shame on you! You won't even offer medical help or medicine to the Israeli hostages! God repays all Evil.

I have red cross, told representing at red cross that I need since I was affected by a major disaster! Red cross ain't really no damn help! They definitely do not do alot to help a homeless person like myself! Red cross don't care what u could be facing a lot of times! Red cross needs more bad reviews and more complaints against them! This also applies to salvation arm organization as well and stupid 211 number! Christine chastity lampkin.

The phlebotomist I had while he was very nice was extremely inexperienced. Stuck me SIX times and was painful af. Then asked for help from others and they weren't nice at all. My whole arm is now bruised and let's not even talk about how bruised my finger is from the iron prick. No thank you.

Red Cross never dispatched day of or days after fire. Finally got in touch with them to be told by Terry there was nothing they could do…they claim not to turn anyone away! We lost everything but clothes we were wearing! Thanks for nothing Red Cross!

Volunteers complain that the paid employees treat them like slaves. In my personal experience, I feel that the paid employees do not respect the employees time or other commitments. The Red Cross demands volunteers put the Red Cross absolutely first, and above all else. They claim that's the mission and not the position is most important.p. However, the paid employees certainly hold their position over the employees heads when it suits them. Again in my personal experience the person in charge of volunteers put her own personal feelings ahead of what's best for the Red Cross. She is vindictive and uses her position to intimidate and exclude perspective volunteers.

Many people with a red Cross are eligible for certain positions, but certainly not qualified to hold them. Management is sorely lacking, as is common sense and logic. Decisions are made by the employees which are not always in the best interest of the Red Cross. Consequently many positions are unfilled and volunteers do not last very long. When I started with the Red Cross, they were seven volunteers in my area. Then there was one, me. Now there are none. The person in charge of volunteers uses her position to screen out volunteers whom she dislikes personally.

If you're thinking of volunteering for the Red Cross, I advise you to think twice before you put yourself into a position of disrespect and servility.

The Red Cross does do a lot of good in this country, but I cannot recommend any position with them for volunteers. As I said before, many positions go unfilled due to the whims and personality of the person in charge of volunteers.

If you were one of those freedosloving Americans that decided not to get the vaccine you might want to think twice about getting any blood from the American Red Cross because they do not separate donations of blood from those who got the vaccine and those that did not get the vaccine so if you need blood you may get blood that has been contaminated with the vaccine they do not care when it comes to your choice and your freedoms

I met Alex at the beach... almost dusk my dog ran up to her like she knew her. Alex not even seeing her (my dog) didn't seem surprised was pleased and pet my dog.
I apologize for my dog running up to her which was of no problem to Alex. Alex and I got to meet... next thing I know she is helping me out with my housing situation. I had been given a 3 week one bedroom apartment with Airbnb but it was coming to an end. Alex & I exchanged numbers & friends now. Her always happy with helpful words of advice. Hopeful sentences always.
