AWFUL Company. DO NOT USE. Promised a pickup on a specific day - I confirmed multiple times. I ordered a UHAUL and booked hotels along the route. The first driver said they could not take my truck. I called Road Runner. They apologized, confirmed truck details, and said someone would come the next day. Next day driver called uhaul was loaded (again since I had to unload some to sleep in my empty apartment with my friend and dog). That driver said they would be there some time that day for sure. I waited until the afternoon and the driver called and said that they would not be able to take my truck because it would not fit. We just reconfirmed all details with Road Runner the day prior when we had this issue. The customer service at road runner said she was so sorry and would have someone there the next day for sure. So I stayed again, Just got a call that they will not come today possibly tomorrow. I called Road Runner and requested a refund - I have to get on the road with my Uhaul. I requested they cover the extra days of the UHAUL. They said no. They dont cover anything. Now I have a storage unit for my truck and will have to fly back out to address it. Road Runner is the WORST company - DO NOT USE THEM!
I don't know where all these good reviews came from, but this company is terrible. Honestly, the only thing I expect from a broker, which is all this is, is proper communication. Their "tracking" is a joke. No online support or email. Only phone numbers; all of which will take 20+ mins to get an answer. Once a representative answers, if you question has anything to do with the shipment, they will direct you to the carrier who took the load. Most of these carriers are even worse than RoadRunner themselves. I understand things happen and schedules slip, but I had a vehicle that was estimated to deliver the 25th. 7pm on the 25th I got ahold of a dispatcher for the carrier that informed me due to a trailer change, the date was going to be pushed back a day. The following day at 5pm I called and got a similar answer. The delivery will now be 2 days behind schedule and not one representative from either company has contacted me to inform me nor has the tracking on Road Runner been updated. I guess we will see if the car is coming or if it's been stripped for parts somewhere on the way... Worst company ever.
This is by far one of the worst transport companies I have ever dealt with. My car was supposed to be picked up on the tuesday. The sunday before I got an email saying everything was on time there had been no delays and I was i'm going to be picked up on tuesday as scheduled. I lost an entire day of pay to make this transaction happen and then I get a call at 9:00am the day of to tell me that no one would be coming until tomorrow. I was told they would be there.The wednesday at 11am. I was at the pickup spot, no one showed up. I got a call at eleven thirty saying the guy would not be here until 6pm. Went back to the meet up spot at 6pm still no show. I received a message at 6:30pm that he would not be here until 8pm. When you try to call the dispatcher to get some clarity on what's going on, they do not answer the phone and they choose when to answer your text messages. Just an awful experience.
Thanks again for your services. The last company(Elite/Zander) really screwed me. You guys jumped in and got my car delivered with no problem and earlier than expected. Roadrunner is a solid and trustworthy company. I recommend it to everyone.
Road Runner auto transport was very professional. I was in close contact with the driver and the dispatcher. They made me secure and I'm glad that I chose this company.
I arranged a transport a month in advance to ship my daughter's car from Hampton University to Houston, Texas the first of May 2025. No one showed up on the agreed day of departure. I had to call another company the day of departure, and that other company delivered. I lost confidence in Roadrunner, and you all have such a memorable name. You all did a great job shipping the car from Houston, Texas the Fall of 2024 to Hampton, Virginia.
Transporting a vehicle is always complicated because all of these companies are really brokering owner-operator transport companies. Road Runner is completely transparent about the process and was great in staying in contact with the driver to make sure my vehicle was picked up and delivered on schedule. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.
It took a full 2 weeks from the date the car was delivered to the local transport company for it to show up at the intended destination which seemed excessive. The thing that really bothered me however was the inability to know the status of the vehicle for that entire period. I was expecting to be able to get updates and/or follow it on a tracker but neither of these things were possible. When I spoke with customer service I was told that they couldn't help me. As I say, the car did arrive and that was fine. But since you ask, please consider investing in a tracking system that works and beefing up your customer service.
They picked up my car in Scottsdale and delivered it to Illinois in 3 days. No issues with delivery. Met the promised time frame.
They delivered ahead of schedule and were courteous I would be happy to refer your services in the future

I schedule a cross country transport from CA to FL. My car was picked up a day earlier than scheduled which was a little inconvenient because I had to scramble on getting rental a day earlier and had to get my car from the shop. But the transport was very quick and the communication was great, so I only took off 1 star.
My transporter arrived at the agreed upon time. Loaded my car securely!
Arrived after a long days drive. My car arrived on the same day we moved into our new state! All great!
The car was picked up a day later. We were told we would get updates of driver's location which didn't happen. Driver would not answer phone until I had someone speak Spanish tell him we wanted our vehicle. And most of all he told our interpreter that they don't travel on weekends. This was the straw that broke the camels back.
My vehicle arrived on time and in good shape. The driver was very professional. Overall a great experience.

This is the 3 time your company do it the same, they switch the price of the service all the time, for any reasons like doesn't have someone pick up for the price on the quote or don't start the car, when the car is run and drive and when I pick up the car starts l, all the time charge me 300 dollars more I'm use this company for more than 10 years, I hope don't have this situation anymore because it's not correct don't respect the contract and charge more money 💰
The vehicle was transported just as expected but the window for delivery was basically all day which is fine, the only problem was that i was told the driver would contact me and let me know when it was within an hour away so i would be ready for it, the driver called when he was only minutes away, had i been at work or even out running a quick errand because i thouht i would be alerted with enough time to get home both parties would have been inconvienenced and I would have had to pay a wait fee to the driver per delivery agreement. But i got the vehicle in one piece so i guess it all worked out.

Answer: There are many shipping brokers and definitely do your research. I've shipped over 12 times and this has been the absolute worse experience I've ever had.
