I recently returned from hospital after a major operation and my wife has been giving me lots of care.
I wanted to arrange for some flowers to be delivered to thank her for all her help. I tried to contact a number of local flower shops but it all seemed to direct me back to Serenata Flowers who seem to have the monopoly.
Reluctantly I ordered some flowers from them when they came they were very disappointing. The cost was approximately £35 and I could have bought a much better bunch for £10 from Tesco's. I wished I had asked a local neighbour to buy some for me instead.
I tried to contact them via their chat line and got nowhere. I also spoke to my credit card company but as they were perishable goods they could not help.
I would therefore suggest that you do not use this company and alternatively try and find a local shop or a neighbour who could buy them and deliver them for you.
As you can probably appreciate when I came out of hospital this hassle was the last thing I wanted.
The customer service is abysmal.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers as a birthday surprise for my mother. The date of delivery was specified/selected when placing the order. However, the flowers did not arrive. When contacting Serenate explaining this, it was clear in their response that they couldn't care less.
I ordered a beautiful bouquet of roses and babys-breath, to be delivered on Valentine's day. Note: these cost me over £50. The flowers got delivered on Friday the 14th to the wrong address, at a dentists practice that didn't open until Monday again. I've reached out to Serenata for this, but I get nothing from them. They keep saying I didn't give them the correct address, which is absolute BS. On top of that, when we picked up the flowers on Monday (dried and dead) I saw that there's been added just one baby's-breath flower instead of the 3-5 that were pictured on the website, making it the saddest bouquet ever. So far Serenata has done nothing to solve it and does everything to prevent me from getting a refund, which they obviously owe me. I'm disappointed in this company and don't recommend anyone ever buying flowers here!
Dreadful service and dreadful company. Not based in UK so when it all goes wrong there is little recourse for you. I lost £81 with these clowns and am very upset. They couldn't care, just throw unfair terms and conditions at you without answering any of the questions raised.

When you search for a local florist Serenata will likely come top on Google but don't be fooled, they're an online business based in Malta. They courier flowers out from distributors across Europe.
I ordered some flowers for my wife for our anniversary and they arrived damaged and in very poor general condition having spent all day in the back of a van. Florist vans are usually air conditioned, courier vans are not! The courier even pulled the box out of the van and tossed it in the air before handing it to me!
To add insult to injury, when your flowers dispatch you get an email telling you that they are being "chauffeured" - I'm not daft and didn't expect this but the manner in which they are actually sent takes the biscuit.
When I complained I was offered a 15% discount for one damaged rose and assured the remaining flowers would bloom within 48 hrs as they are in "bud form".
This is utter rubbish - most of the bouquet are cheap chrysanthemums (petrol station flowers) and all are in poor condition.
Save yourself half the money and all the hastle and go to your local florist, M&S or Waitrose instead.

The picture showed a nice and especially full bunch of flowers. What arrived was about 3/4 of the quantity it showed on the website. That's nothing other than fraud.
Also, it came with a free vase, but the flowers were very expensive because it included the vase in its price. But they pretended the flowers were that expensive and the vase was free, from the goodness of their heart. Would have happily dumped the vase and pay less.
But mostly: you don't quite get what you pay for.
I love Serenata Flowers! They have the most beautiful flowers for any occasion. Whenever I order from them, the flowers arrive right on schedule and in perfect shape. They look exactly like the photos on their website, which is fantastic! It's always a relief when what you get matches what you expect.

Do not use this company. They used Yodel to deliver my flowers sent with love from my family and we saw the driver, toss the packages around in the van with no sense of care at all. The flowers were very poorly packaged and the accompanying vase - again poorly packaged - was smashed in the box. I'd give this company 0 stars if I could.

After ordering from Serenta for many years now. I was disgusted at the way my Mum and Dads plants arrived. They were supposed to be in a basked, but when it arrived, it was as if someone had shaken the box. When it was opened the basket, plants and soil were all over the inside of the box. Serenta did rectify the problem the next day. That is the reason I only gave one star.
