The company has garnered significant criticism for its lack of transparency regarding ticket pricing and additional fees, leading to customer frustration and feelings of being misled. Many customers report difficulties with ticket delivery and unresponsive customer service, which exacerbates their dissatisfaction. Conversely, some positive feedback highlights the ease of the purchasing process and timely ticket delivery when transactions go smoothly. Overall, the reviews reflect a troubling trend of customer discontent primarily stemming from unclear pricing practices and inadequate support, overshadowing the few positive experiences reported.

Pretty poor experience. A few hours after giving my card details, my card started getting fraudulent charges that my bank recognized as such. I called to cancel - No chance. I initiated a dispute and will see if I can recover. I purchased tickets elsewhere. I asked why they would prefer a dispute rather than being elegant and refunding the money. They said it's just policy.
My policy is to let people know my experience.
False and misleading information. No help to refund. Not trustworthy. Lies. They won't help you. They just take your money and run. Even through they changed the money last minute it wasn't at all what I agreed to. LIARS. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THEM!

They charge way more than the venue for tickets. I did a google search to get tickets for a show with friends. I thought I was clicking the site for the venue and grabbed 2 tickets, since they were saying they were selling out. Paid $86/ticket for the show, plus the extra fees. My friend sent me the link to the actual venue ticket sales, and they were $34/ticket, however ALL SALES ARE FINAL with Ticketsales.com.

To scam. Tricks people into buying their tickets in Canada for US dollars and 3 to 4 times the website that they're spoofing the worst kind of business on the Internet.

These people are greedy scammers! I'm sure they think they are very clever, buying up the cheapest seats and charging unsuspecting customers 3X what they paid for the tickets! They disguise their site as legitimate very well. I paid over $600 for seats that were obtainable for under $300.

My worst lifetime Ticket Experience, Feb -Nov 2025
I bought tickets to an event scheduled for November 10 on February 14. I have been waiting months for these tickets. They were promised by Nov 5. It is past Nov 5 now and still no tickets. On Nov 6 I get an email that provides me my order number and an email address and unique password for a Ticketmaster account, along with a phone number. The email says to call the phone number only on the day of the event and that I would meet the seller and be walked into the event needing the original credit card used to purchase the tickets.? What happened to getting my tickets by Nov. 5? I went to the site online and ended up in a chatbot with a robot that apparently was new and knew nothing, couldn't even respond to a question. Eventually I joined a chat with maybe a person? Had to explain my story and was told to log on to Ticketmaster with the email address and password provided in the letter to access my tickets. They didn't say anything about Ticketmaster sending a confirmation code to the address just entered (which is not MY email address, but the one they provided). Nor did they provide the zip code associated with that login that Ticketmaster was requiring. How was I going to get the confirmation code to log in to Ticketmaster to access the tickets. Not possible without the code. I went thru numerous attempts to get to the Ticketmaster account that has the tickets. No go. Chat person finally said that they are working on it and to just wait for the process and I would be receiving an email. …I waited. About an hour later I receive an email to call a phone number at Ticketsales.com. Finally…I reached a person (with a difficult accent to decipher…but I tried to remain patient) and I had to explain all this again. After being on hold for a while and reconnecting with the person, it was determined that I needed to call a phone number of the person with the tickets, then log on to Ticketmaster with them on the phone, then possibly I could receive the confirmation code from them to continue the Ticketmaster login to the account where the tickets are stored. Very skeptical of this, as the person I call may also not have access to the email account provided for the login, so they too, might not receive the confirmation code to complete the Ticketmaster login. I called the number, and of course there was no answer, so all I could do was leave name and number to get a call back. Will that ever happen? This is clearly NOT the way to sell tickets. It should be: click, click…here is your tickets…all done. Not this wait 9 months, get an email, have to do robot chat, have to call, put on hold, wait more, have to call someone, leave message there…and pray. Is that how to obtain tickets? Clearly this experience wins the prize as the worst in my life for ticket purchase. Way back in February, I too thought I was dealing with the venue itself to purchase the tickets, not some ticket vendor as this turned out to be. All buyers that encounter TicketSales.com beware! You are in for the ride of your life. I still don't know if I'll ever get the tickets or attend the event I've been waiting 9 months for. This story is not yet over…

This company is a scam. They pay money to supersede the event host in search and then pretend that they actually ARE the event host. Which they are not. They don't have the tickets that they say that they have. They charge you astronomically for the tickets they HOPE they will get... and then refuse to refund or provide you the tickets until hours before the event... Customer service is a joke. "Bhavya" was just a policy parrot repeating lines that the Chatbot told me minutes before. Scam. Fraud. Thieves. Beware.

I went to purchase tickets on Oct. 2nd 2025 for the Albuquerque balloon festival for Oct. 4th 2025. The balloon festival website "Buy Tickets" link took me to ticketsales.com. Where that was the only link and option to purchase tickets. They were $45 each. They have a morning event or evening event. So I bought 2 tickets for the evening event. After tax, I was at $100 for both. Later to find out that the tickets were only $15 each. Anyways I printed out my tickets which included a barcode. When we got to the venue around 3:30 pm, they scanned our tickets and said they were invalid, and that they were already used in the morning. I told them that we didnt come in the morning, and that we just got there. But they wouldnt allow us in. We were directed to buy new tickets which were only $15 at the ticket booth. Bottom line is we were scammed out of $100. Somebody took my money and also somehow used my tickets. I reported the incident to Ticketsales.com, and they assured me they would look into the issue. They said they would send me some paperwork to fill out through an email in a couple days. Now its Oct. 15th and still havent heard squat. I sent them a follow up email, only to be ignored. I would be careful with buying tickets from these clowns. Order #******* Do the right thing ticketsales.com and refund my money.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Ticketsales.com and feel compelled to warn others. The ticket prices on this site are outrageously high compared to other platforms. I purchased tickets for a concert, expecting a fair deal, but the final cost was nearly double what I'd seen on other reputable sites due to excessive fees tacked on at checkout. These hidden fees weren't clearly disclosed upfront, which felt deceptive.
To make matters worse, I'm an international buyer, and the USD conversion process was a nightmare. The exchange rate applied was far worse than the standard market rate, inflating the cost even further. There was no transparency about how the conversion was calculated, leaving me feeling cheated.

Garbage. Borderline useless. Zero help with customer service. Questionable company is an understatement.

They looked like the event website. I found out after I bought that they weren't. I immediately got a hold of them, before the card had been charged or any tickets received, and they would not follow the law and refund. The State of Alaska requires a 3-day window for a retail seller in which the buyer cancel the transaction, return the merchandise and get a refund. They refused to comply.

Here is very small print said each Rip off, Funny Bone tickets were available for $37 i called and begged for my money back i am on SS - they told me to sell my tickets. Feel so dumb, thought i was purchasing from the Funny Bone, run don't walk away from Ticketsales.com- many bbb complaints and others! They do not deserve any stars! Beware seniors they do not care

Beware this site. I ordered two tickets and they charged my credit card for eight tickets. When I called they cussed me and refused to issue a refund. This company is a fraud. They are thieves.

Prompt and very easy to navigate. It's very convenient to have our tickets on our phone, don't have to worry about losing our tickets
I ordered tickets a month ago. I received an email asking to confirm receipt of my tickets, however the location to view the invoice for the event did not work. I had to back track to see what I did on that day and find my tickets. Because I purchase events from many vendors, this concerned me at first because my identity has been compromised. But in the end, I do have my tickets and it was myself whom purchased them.

Awful customer service. This company prays on those who are distracted and are merciless when contacted for help. I just purchased a couple tickets to a concert and called one minute later realizing the price was much higher than I anticipated. I went to check the ticket price compared to what the venue was selling them for and ticketsales marked the price up 50% and tacked on over 50 dollars in "service fees" for the two tickets. When I called they said all sales are final. I asked about getting the call escalated to someone else and they said they "had no manager" and that they "didn't have an email address". Just ridiculous. These guys are crooks - don't use their services!

As we have dealt with American Music Theater before we had no trouble buying tickets for the Christmas show
I'm old school, a person who used cash and tickets, and it has changed quite drastically. I needed help from my friend who has kids of course, and she handled the ticket transaction like it was elementary school. Hopefully, one day, I see it like that, because there are events I want to attend!
I was able to purchase the tickets I desired. I am new to virtual tickets, but all went well. The review requires 100 characters but I don't need that many to express my overall satisfaction.
Good experience purchasing concert tickets. Will use again when need arises. Smooth transaction and easy access to tickets.
Answer: I thought I was buying direct from event site. Obviously I did not to research or read fine print. Never again. Don't buy from them!
