I placed an order tonight. Actually two orders. One order was delivered. The other order was not. The "photo evidence" of the order that was not delivered, was merely a picture of the bag. Not at my house. Just a picture of a bag. That order was for my daughter so I waited on chat for 30 minutes. You can't speak to a person. You can only chat. After explaining the situation to what seems to be a chat bot, I was told they would not refund the order because it was marked as delivered. Obviously, I wasn't happy with that so eventually, I got the Chatbot to agree to a refund. However, the chat was extremely rude. Personally, I will never use Uber for anything again. I recommend DoorDash quite frankly. I thought the selection there was limited, but I've placed a ton of orders there and I've never had this problem. Plus, if you are in a difficult situation, you can always speak to a human.

They show less estimated time for delivery, charge high for deliveries, but the order still arrives very late. They even introduced +4.99 for priority delivery, but again as usual they deliver it very late... All this after being a member of UBER ONE πŸ€·πŸ€¦β€πŸ™†. They are so desperate for money that they rip off customer, even for a small order. πŸ‘Ž. I just wish unethical earnings could just disappear for no reason.

18:15 via UberEats 2 pizza's besteld bij lokale pizzeria, zou rond 18:40 komen (€ 35,37)
Ik woon op begane grond met vanuit huiskamer zicht op de straat, dus ben gaan zitten wachten, maar er kwam geen UberEats pizzabezorger. 19:08 Pizzeria gebeld en antwoord apparaat ingesproken, 19:29 nog steeds geen pizza's… dus ben ik naar de pizzeria gegaan. Die lieten mij zien dat mijn bestelling inderdaad was aangekomen, en vertelden dat zij de pizza's tegen 18:30 aan UberEats hadden meegeven. Zij meenden niets voor mij te kunnen doen. Daarop heb ik contact gezocht met Uber Eats. Die stelt dat 1. Er bij mij is aangebeld 2. Dat de bezorger 14 minuten voor mijn deur heeft staan wachten
3. En dat de bezorger mij heeft proberen te bellen op mijn mobiel (waarvan idd het laatste cijfer een 0 is).
Echter: - Mijn deurbel is tot op zolder te horen, en werkt prima. Zowel mijn zoon als ik zijn getuige dat er niet bij ons is aangebeld. (Leugen 1)
- Een 14 minuten lang wachtende UberEats bezorgder had mij zondermeer door het raam op de bank zien zitten (en ik hem ook). (Leugen 2)
- Niemand blijkt mijn telefoon gebeld te hebben. (Leugen 3).
- Uber Eats gebruikt deze 3 leugens om mij mijn geld niet terug te hoeven geven en verschuilt zich achter een AI-communicatiesysteem dat eeuwig hetzelfde antwoord blijft herhalen zonder op de door mij aangedragen feiten in te gaan. Kortom: Bestel niet via Uber Eats, de kans dat je word opgelicht is groot!

Small business owners beware. Ubereats is not for the small business owner. We are more efficient than large businesses. When filing disputes they side with customer no matter what. I sent in pics of accurate orders and still didn't get paid. Customer service is terrible. I don't think they are here in USA. Managers are no help. Can never manage up when there is a problem. I think they are working in garages from home. Do you and your business a favor. Use DoorDash or a local delivery service. Uber is not for small business owners

Uber sucks

I placed an order through uber and the delivery guy bought it to the wrong address. When the driver contacted me I could not understand him he sounded foreign and I did not understand what he was saying. I never got my order. When I contacted uber they refused to give me a refund.

The app changed my delivery address without my inputβ€”used my last Uber ride pickup instead of my saved home address. I noticed too late and couldn't update it because the app blocked changes due to distance. The restaurant refused to help, and I had to cancel the order myself and got charged €37.50 for food I never received. This is a serious app bug and completely unacceptable. No support, no refund. Never using Uber Eats again.

Uber eats offered me 3 months of free uber one subscription and charge me $13 for it. There is no one to send a complaint about it. No phone number or email or chat. They charged me via ubereats gift card that I had on my account, so I can not dispute the transaction.

They use to be good but their service a has really gone down hill, always late lately which means cold and soggy food, I have had items missing from my order and sometimes the order has been delivered to the wrong address, their customer service number literally has been disconnected and their online chat is just automated non help

I should receive a refund to my original account not Uber cash. I use my business account at work and have received Uber cash instead of a credit to my business profile when there is an issue. Yet, they tell me that I cannot use my Uber cash and must use a personal card if I go over the weekly limit. That does not make any sense!
Update: I was able to change to Uber cash later in the day on my own.

I had a terrible experience with Uber Eats. After my order was canceled, I tried to get a refund, but their customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive. It was incredibly frustrating to deal with such poor support. Overall, the lack of assistance and the inconvenience have made me decide not to use their service again

I placed an order from a restaurant that was still showing as open on the Uber Eats app. When I arrived for pickup, the staff came to the door and told me they had already closed at 11 PM. Nothing was going to be made, and they instructed me to cancel the order β€” they even said this was a glitch in the app and that it happens often. I followed their instructions and canceled the order, assuming that would be the end of it. No food, no service β€” obviously, no charge. But instead, Uber Eats still took my money. Their so-called "support" team sent me a lazy, copy-paste message saying the order was "accepted," so I wouldn't be getting a refund or even credit β€” completely ignoring the fact that the store was closed, the order was never started, and I left empty-handed. I even have dashcam footage showing the restaurant staff coming to my car to explain what happened β€” and immediately after, I placed another order at a different, actually open restaurant. Let's be clear: this isn't a customer mistake. This is a platform failure. Uber Eats knowingly allowed orders to go through from a closed restaurant. Then instead of owning the error, they doubled down and kept the money β€” like it's no big deal. Zero accountability. Zero fairness. Absolutely no customer care. Uber Eats has turned into a complete gamble β€” you're risking your money every time you place an order, and if something goes wrong (which it often does), you're stuck with their robotic, useless support team who won't lift a finger to fix it. Avoid this app unless you enjoy being scammed and ignored. Disgraceful.

Horrible company

I've been trying to get this issue sorted for ages and the chat feature is ridiculous. They don't even respond now. I have Β£50 on uber eats and I can't use it, it won't let me toggle it on. I was then told 48 hours about a week ago and still no avail. I told them I want a refund or I want it to work. I'm getting agitated now as I'm getting nowhere with this.

I recently had a terrible experience with Uber Eats due to their app malfunctioning. My order went through three times instead of once, causing duplicate charges. I canceled the first two orders within five minutes, well before the restaurant started preparing them. I even called Sushi Circle in Fulham, who confirmed they had not begun making the food and assured me they would notify Uber Eats to issue a refund.

Despite this, Uber Eats has still charged me for both canceled orders, leaving me with a Β£111 charge for just one Β£37 order that I actually received. This is completely unacceptable and violates Uber Eats' own terms and conditions, which state that if an order is canceled before the restaurant starts preparing it, a refund should be issued.

Uber Eats' customer service has been completely unhelpful, refusing to take responsibility despite clear evidence from the restaurant. Their unfair and misleading policies leave customers out of pocket for errors caused by their own app. I will be disputing this charge with my bank and would strongly warn others to be cautious when using Uber Eats.

As Uber Eats' customer service team will not help me resolve this issue and I am unable to speak to a representative from Uber Eats over the phone, despite requesting they call me a number of times. I will have no choice but to escalate the matter further, including disputing the charge with my bank and reporting it to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Citizens Advice, as this appears to be an unfair business practice.

To make matters worse 'nhaide' from customer serviced claimed on the evening of the cancelled orders that they could 'confirm' that I wasn't charged by Sushi Circle for the cancelled orders though I was still then charged.

If anyone wants to order food using uber eats, don't! If I could select zero stars, I would have.
I placed an order via uber eats. After getting the order and checking the content I noticed that an item was missing. The place I ordered from even wrote it on the ticket.
When contacting uber eats, sending them a photo of the ticket, and what seemed like mailing with a robot, they refused to reimburse me for the missing item and considered the matter closed. I am furious.They just took my money without anything in return.

Scammers who charged for cancelling an order when their driver was stuck in the same location. I canceled the order and they are refusing to refund me. I didn't receive my order, the driver was not answering but somehow it's my fault. By the way their cancellation reasons are exactly the same reasons I canceled my order, it's reasonable for them but not for me.

Uber Awful Eats

Ordered from Uber eats or tried to should I say, not only did we not get food but they waited over an hour to tell us our order was being cancelled. Despite their driver not delivering, taking the food back to the restaurant and leaving us waiting while they told us they were looking for another driver. And to add insult to injury still charged us a delivery fee even after the order was cancelled!
