I chose Custom Ink for a small but important order of shirts for our sales team attending an upcoming conference. I specifically selected them because of their promised quick turnaround and assurance that they could deliver on time. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. The day after placing my order, I was informed that the shirts I selected were out of stock. Since timing was critical, I promptly responded with four alternative options. I received no reply. I followed up again that same day and the next and eventually had to call in two days later. At that point, I was told that I had not replied (which I absolutely had), and that they could no longer meet the original delivery timeline because of "my delay." I asked for the issue to be escalated to a manager, but instead of speaking to anyone, I received a curt email stating I wasn't "authorized" to escalate the matter. I replied to that email—no response. I followed up again the next day—still nothing. I finally emailed to cancel the order and, unsurprisingly, didn't receive a response until after the original delivery date had passed, confirming my cancellation. I'm dumbfounded by the lack of communication and urgency. At no point did anyone seem concerned that I was trying to resolve a time-sensitive issue. I understand this was a small order, but it feels like Custom Ink simply doesn't care unless you're spending big money. I won't be using them again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who values reliability, responsiveness, or basic customer service.
Because it don't allow creative expression and creativity freedoms for fashion designers independent designers the staff are rude unprofessional it not right for fashion brand it needs to be more organized and professionally and less toxic work environment put more better regulatory in place won't let be creative in designing for my brand rich ladies boss store and r store new York
Content standards is just a euphemism for censorship. It's funny that I can't design a shirt in this country which supposedly has free speech but can order a similar shirt from China, a communist country with no free speech. Would you have printed it if it said "Free Palestine" or "Biden 2024". I' m betting you would. You should change your name from "Custom Ink" to "Shirts WE Approve Of Ink". The use of the word custom gives the customer the false impression that they have autonomy over their design.
I won't be placing another order but if I did it would say "CENSORSHIP STINKS! AND SO DOES CUSTOM INK". Would you print that one? Wait!… I guess I already know the answer to that.
I order from CustomInk for years, but this year I decided to try a new product and slightly new design (same logo, but in one color). I ordered black logo on backpack, and unfortunately when I received and order of 10 backpacks I found out that the logo didn't stand out well. I wasn't going to complain because they did exactly what I ordered. But I got an email from a customer service representative emailed me to check if I'm satisfied. Then I explained my problem. I was asked to send a photo, and based on that the company sent me completely new 10 backpacks with a different, really contrasting logo, free of charge and even free expedited delivery (she asked the date of my event.)
I has always liked Customink, but this time I was especially impressed: the follow-up email wasn't just a formal note, they addressed the issue immediately and free of charge.
Thank you, Mark, Stephanie, Cindy and the team!
I recently purchased shirts and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The shirts I received were nothing like what was advertised on their website.
Firstly, the quality of the fabric was subpar. It felt cheap and scratchy against my skin, nothing like the soft and breathable material that was promised in the product description. It's evident that corners were cut in the manufacturing process, resulting in a product that falls far short of expectations.
Secondly, the sizing was completely off. Despite carefully following the sizing chart provided on their website, the shirts I received were either too tight or too loose. It's as if they completely disregarded standard sizing conventions, leaving me stuck with ill-fitting garments that I can only wear as a pajama.
Additionally, the colors of the shirts were noticeably different from what was depicted online. The vibrant hues shown in the product images were replaced with dull, washed-out shades that lacked any semblance of vibrancy or appeal.
Beside the order being late, and otherwise not as promised, the first time the shirt was washed on normal setting the logo party came off. I have nothing good to say about my experience.
I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent ordeal with Custom Ink compels me to share my experience to potentially save others from similar frustration. I approached Custom Ink for a custom canopy tent order, but the process turned out to be incredibly exasperating.
The main issue was the lack of consistent communication. Every time I corresponded via email or spoke with their sales team, I found myself explaining my requirements to a new person. This lack of continuity in support led to a chaotic and disjointed experience.
Furthermore, I received conflicting information about their custom pop-up canopy for sporting events. It was disheartening to spend so much time trying to sort out these inconsistencies without any productive outcome.
Eventually, I turned to another company for my order, and the difference in service quality was like night and day compared to what I experienced at Custom Ink. It's disappointing because I had hoped for a smoother process and better customer service from a well-known company like Custom Ink.
I made two orders with this company. Our Elementary School had a fundraiser and we did a pretty BIG order (at least for us) $2500 in youth shirts. Despite the expense (the price was double what we usually pay).
The teachers loved them so much they asked to purchase some. With only 9 on this second order I called and ordered more. I told customer service they were for our female teachers. I also told them what sizes I needed. When the second order came in the shirts were so HUGE! They are sold as unisex, but they were bigger than MEN sizes.
I had some of the teachers try on the shirts and a medium for instance was the same size as your typical Mens XL tshirt.
Bottom line is that I contacted the company, begging for help. They listened to my recorded call, and determined they were not in the wrong. I received no help as far as fixing the problem. They sent me a how to video and other directions that basically was a way of saying "Go through all this trouble, so you can forget about us"
After spending $2500+ my experience ended with a poor customer experience, nothing was resolved. Our teachers at our school have shirts that would fit a large man, and a corporate giant that won't be getting any more of our business.
All the shirt I've bought from them all have custom ink logo and its hard to start a business with a company that makes your shirts.
This place is a ripoff.
I had previously paid for my First order believing that the cost of the Template that I paid for would be applicable for later orders. But NO! They want to charge more than 27.00 for each additional T-shirt I order. Claimed Pandemic and Inflation were the cause.
Oh please. Inflation maybe, but Pandemic? Are they still wearing masks or what?
Local shops will work with you and if you need changes, additional orders, add-ons, etc. you have a much better chance of them working with you. If you need any of those with this site, then you will have to start from scratch each time.
In a day and age when there is so lack of accountability, this company talks the talk and walks the walk. When they say "customer satisfaction" they DO mean it. Kudos to all! Can't wait to do business again.
When Custom Ink gets it right, they do great work. But getting there can be real frustrating and aggravating. For example, they can deliver shirts that you are satisfied with. A year later, you order the same shirts, you open up the box, and the shirts are different! You now spend the next two months, on the phone and reviewing emails, reinventing the wheel. It is exhausting. And to call and speak to a new person every time! I'm done with Custom Ink. I've had better luck with the "Mom and Pop" T-Shirt companies.
I have ordered from Custom Ink twice now and both experiences and products were outstanding! I needed a reprint because of my own mistake and they did it for free and quickly! Customer service never has a hold, you speak to an american who is knowledgeable anout the product, ordering process and printing process. I will always use custom ink for my jobs. Oh and I also got an email from the CEO thanking me for my purchase both times. This is the personalized, grateful service that I appreciate so much!
Customer service was excellent and the print was fine. But the shirt was hideous. Rough and enormous in all the wrong places. Completely strange sizing. Extra long but tight across the chest. Also wrinkles will not come out if you wash it. The roughest supposed 100 percent cotton. Not worth the money. Not reallyh wearble.
This is my second year ordering t-shirts for our annual pig roast, last year's shirts are still vibrant in color, no fading, and the print survives the washer and dryer!
This year I was late getting my order in and they still got them to me in time for my event!
Their review process is excellent and even though I make small mistakes in my design lining things up and custom ink gets it straight, checks with me and sends me perfect t-shirts!
I will use them every year!
Bad experience, unfortunately. Ordered in time for delivery 2 weeks before Mother's Day, it didn't show. Reached out, was assured that they would resend it, still didn't show, now past Mother's Day, reached out again, assured that it was going to be resent, never showed, reached out again, no answer. We just lost our money. I see a lot of good reviews, which is why I felt confident about ordering from them, so others must have a good experience. I didn't, and reaching out for help seems to have no effect.
Purchased shirts for my Niece's Bachelorette Party. All shirts looked and fit great!
Couldn't be happier, will DEFINITELY order from Custom Ink again.
Custom Ink stole my idea for making neon clothing. Watch them make it once I make it or before I make. I'm done.
They didn't read my notes and the design was very poorly executed. The shirts are also stiff and look faded. We used them because they could get them to us fast but it wasn't worth it.
Answer: Hi there- no, we are not the same company as Genesis Ink. Thanks for reaching out!
Answer: I don't think so. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer: Hi James- I'm sorry that you had frustrations with the quality and sizing of your order. If you can pass along your order number, we'd be happy to look into this and make sure we make it right with you. Thanks so much!
Answer: Sorry I can't help with that question. I got so frustrated with them that I went to another shirt printing site.
