Notes: Before making this purchase, it's important to fully understand all aspects of what you're purchasing. Though this is a monthly charge of $250, you are only allotted a certain amount of access (hours) to their staff, so it's important to track the hours they spend assisting you, so you can feel good about the money you spending in the training. Also, this is a monthly recurring charge, which I was not aware of originally when signing up with the lady over the phone.

I worked with a person at the company who assisted me in submitting a few proposals. The time given to assist in the two proposals submissions was extremely helpful, and I'm grateful for the help, for sure; however, after the submission process was completed, the professional relationship felt like it shifted into a more transactional phase, and the support no longer was available at the same capacity. After a few emails that went unanswered, I sent an email through their online platform and was contacted pretty quickly, however, I felt that because it took me reaching out in that way, when we had been corresponding via email, it just didn't sit well with me personally.

I think the platform offers great services for collecting the RFPs, and I do think the 1:1 training was helpful, though like any training, sometimes you have some follow-up questions for clarity that may not warrant another $250 charge, but could be answered easily via email. For me to spend $250 again, I would have liked to have seen the continuation of the professional relationship that I thought had been established.

I will continue to use their service, paying $50 to access RFPs, until I can find another service that offers the equivalent at a lower rate.

Overall, I gave this company a 3 out of 5. Originally, that was a 5 out of 5 but modified my comments to reflect the overall experience.

I was able to have a one on one call with Mark (grant writer) he went over the process of gov. Bids. I'm new to government contracting, so working with Mark was great! I'm looking forward to submitting bids and getting them awarded.

I was lured in my their initial subscription offer of $39 per year. After the year was up, they automatically renewed me for 783.00. They never sent any type of email or call or notification. And, even though I cancelled a few days after the renewal, they do not offer any type of refund, pro-rated or not.

According to the law in their state of Georgia, they MUST notify subscribers between 30 and 60 days before the automatical renewal comes due.

I tried to call their office multiple times but no one ever answers. Emails are also unanswered.

Why would any company conduct business to make their customers unhappy? The reason these automatic renewal laws are on the books in so many states is to protect consumers from just this sort of thing happening.

There are several inaccuracies in your comment. First, we do not lure. You were provided a whole year of service at more than 90% off our published rate - essentially one year for the 1/2 the cost of one month. We provided a whole year of service to prove our value. We earn every one of our 82,000 customers by providing competitive pricing to help them succeed. We provide monthly, quarterly and annual options to make payment for our services affordable. Second, we do not require an automatic renewal, customers choose that option. Third, members are reminded of their choice at purchase. Fourth, members are reminded in every daily email alert we send and at every log in on our site of their upcoming renewals and options to avoid being charged including canceling or changing to a non-renewable option. We reaffirm our policy not to provide refunds due to the easy availability and access to ALL the information within our system at extremely affordable options. Finally, if a member ever chooses to dispute their charge (as is their right), then we are required to enter a dispute process and bound by our mutual agreements via their credit card company.

This has occurred in your particular case.

We disagree with your comment in the strongest possible way. We have worked since 1998 to help small businesses with affordable options. We honor each member's credit card company's dispute policies. We have never required annual purchases or automatic renewals. We make the process to cancel use of our service as simple as possible in multiple ways. We will continue those practices.

In 20 years of service, this is the first review of this nature. While we do an outstanding job managing our daily delivery of more than 18 million alerts annually, we are not able to manage the business affairs of another company. This is the reason the dispute process is provided by ALL credit card companies and why we agree to be bound by them.
