The planning of a new master bathroom in my attached barn was easy with the help of Mitch, who led me through measuring an empty space and imagining exactly where the tub, vanity, toilet and walk in shower would go so that the order would be accurate. And this always seemed to be after 8 p.m. over several days when I had time. Mitch was always available. The ordering was easy; WarmStep under our antique chestnut nail down bathroom floor, as well as ThermoTile in our walk in shower with a pebble stone floor.
The easiest part of this two-year project was deciding/measuring/ordering the heat for the flooring. We've been finished since last spring. This winter, the heating beneath my bathroom and shower floors is working wonderfully. Add in my remote control heated toilet seat, and this has fast become my favorite room in the house! They did resolve the issue Our system had a failure after a few months of working. Rounds of various testing machines. Was told on the phone that they would fix it and make it right. I always asked for email confirmation - nothing. No real support just bull on the phone. For that money i had floor heat for a few months - now nothing. The wire failed
The folks on the phone are basically just liars.

Absolute best experience. Love the product, great costumer service. Knowledgeable, expert advice 100% availability, all in all 5 star company. Would recommend always. Bought radiant heating in all my house in upstate NY. After the second winter is over I can say this system is much better than previous regular heating system I had. Heat is distributed evenly throughout the room, which makes for greater comfort and a nice warm feeling when you walk on it. The system is not drying the air like forced air alternative. It does not have "jumps" in temperature from too hot to too cold, instead the temperature is constant all the winter. Bought thermostats in all the rooms so everyone can choose their own "climate". In terms of money, the electrical bill is about the same as with natural gas heating before (I am not factoring the cost of installation, just bill over bill).
Things were ordered close to last minute. I appreciate the fast shipping as my business is on the line. Products came well packaged. The best part was the customer service I received from calling in to ask questions about what I was ordering. Concise & clear information was given making my decision very easy. Thank you Thermosoft. I was amazed as I called ThermoSoft at 7:00 PM pacific time left a message with their answering service 1/2 hour later I get a call from Doug and I know it's 10:30 pm where he's from. He answered all our questions and helped us figure out what we needed and gave us a good price. We just placed our order with him and will recommend Doug to my brother in-law as he wants to know how the product is after it's all installed.
Felt I was given good, solid buying advise from Dan G. Had some issues with the new Thermostat but was given excellent info and instructions from Dan regarding settings that I was not sure of. Got that new Thermostat up and working in no time and I then advised Dan that I may have to call back from time to time seeing this new one has so many features and needs to dialed in accurately to perform factual readings. My overall experience with Thermo Soft has been nothing short of "Excellent". The website was easy to maneuver through. Once I found a product that would be viable for my situation, I had a little chat session with the Tech services...namely Dan G. Dan was very informative and helped me through the process of making the right choices. As we corresponded via email, he was quick to respond. That impressed me! I deal with many clients, reps and vendors and it's one of my pet peeves waiting and waiting on a response. We were thrilled with everything about ThermoSoft flooring. For two years we were advocates and ambassadors for the product. This winter, three of the large pads failed. Although they offer a warranty, it does you no good if you have to tear up your hardwood floors to fix them. We were prepared to put Thermosoft in our whole house when we build new later this year. We will avoid Thermosoft products. Two years isn't enough time to have completely heated floors. In diagram provided, 2,4, and 5 no longer work.: (

We value your feedback and it's unfortunate we weren't able to come to a resolution to inspect the mats in the field. 3 years ago I bought 2 mats and one thermostat to control both. I just installed the 2nd mat. Come to find out one of the terminal block screws were stripped from the factory. Since it was over the warrantee They wouldn't stand behind the product. Then I called multiple times to the same rep for additional assistance. He won't return my calls. I'm a contractor and I would never purchase from this company again.

Answer: Yes, it will be a good application for ThermoFloor heating system. The general rule is to cover your entire walking area, not under cabinets. If your area is getting very cold in winter, then additional layer of insulation is recommended over the concrete.
